"Great shrimp!. The atmosphere is pleasant although some of the servers speak very little English. The slippery shrimp is always an excellent choice! The hot and sour soup is the best ever. I you don 't like noise and screaming kids, DO NOT go there on Friday nights. Evidently that is 'obnoxious kid ' day!"

"Garcia Nunez is incredible! He always attends to me when I visit, and he’s my favorite waiter. This restaurant never fails to impress me. The staff and owners are genuinely nice people. I’ll be a loyal customer for life, even making the trip from Katy just to dine here! I highly recommend this place to everyone. And don't forget to try the General Tso's chicken!"

"Nice place to go for Thai, the prices were more expensive than we expected from other Thai places but it wasn't too bad. The food was decent and the service was good too. Nothing extraordinary. The Thai chicken fried rice was the best out of everything we ordered and the Thai soup was not at great. One complaint I have is the appetizer sampler; it was definitely not worth it for 15 dollars, not that the food was bad, but the quantity of food you get was really low. If you're debaiting between going here and sagar, choose sagar. However if you want something new, go to this place. They also had a clean bathroom."

"this placenta is generally quite ok. it seems like they're a hit or miss on their food. one day it is very tasty, then the next day it is more salty than the atlantic. As long as you are stuck in the fried rice and other appetizers, you are ok, enticing yourself to your own salt risk."

Our waiter knew our food preferences from visits a couple years ago even though we had never met him, nor had we ever formally made any requests our prior waiter listened and noted it in our reservation. "Was in the mood for Chinese food. Found this place on the map, walked in and the staff was sitting at a table making dumplings with no gloves on. They looked at me and said nothing, finally I tell them it’s just me for lunch. They take me to a sit and walk away. They show up with water and little chips like thing. I was given a menu and give me 10 seconds to order. While being told that they have no lunch menu at 11:30? I said ok and ordered from the dinner meals. The dumplings were delicious and the lo main was no incredibly salty I didn’t eat it. I asked for the bill and the food to go. Not one server or employee comes to ask me if I need anything or if I’m doing ok. Fine I don’t really like to talk to people anyways. They give me the bill I pay and leave. The employee walks out and literally asked me for a tip? I said u didn’t take my order or provided any service for me? Plus u guys have a sign at the door that states u take 3% from credit card sell? Overall some of the rudest most ridiculous experience I have ever had eating lunch. As I was leaving the ladies that took care of me when I walked in where sat at the table eating nuts and having coffee. But this dude wants me to leave them a tip? I’ll never be back, I’m not from the area. But the service was horrible and it makes sense where there was 3 people in the restaurant."

"Had one of my events here. I am giving 3 stars because I was forced to buy 150 plates because the manager said there is no way he will book the venue for 100 guests only. At the end 80 people (including kids) were at this event. Our food tasted much better on the day we tasted the menu. Also didn’t follow my instructions on appetizers but it was overall not bad on the food. The staff that served at my event was good and kind. The stage was decorated well enough I think (still not sure if that worth a $1000). My husband and I talked about leaving a nice tip for the staff at all our events and we were not able to do that at this venue bc we paid so much extra on the plates for guests I didn’t have!! And we paid tips on those extra plates no body ate!! Pictures I uploaded are from the tasting not the event."

"This a completely vegetarian Indian restaurant ironicly right next to a meat shop and deli. My husband and I live two hours from Woodlands but it 's more than worth the travel and gas. The food is like magic and we moan with pleasure and grin like idiots while eating. The Kofta, which are spiced potato 'meatballs ' in a tomato curry sauce sprinkled with fresh parsley and cilantro, are so marvelous the English language suddenly seems clumsy and incompetent and falls hopelessly short. The samosas are applause worthy, they are potatoes, peas, coriander, and turmeric in a deep fried triangular pastry served with chili-tamarind sauce. The coconut rice is over priced but still very hard not to get and we 're always trying to figure out what the little balls in it are. They don 't taste like peppercorns but they are about that size, whatever they are they 're good. The waiter seems deeply depressed and never smiles but is not rude. The restaurant is relatively small and cute and always has lovely Indian music playing. The menu is a very good size and the portions are generous but not ridiculous. Even the fried food is never greasy and you always feel good when you leave. It 's mostly Indian people eating here so that tells me it 's probably pretty authentic cooking. It 's not vegan friendly, there 's only about two dishes without dairy but that is what Indian food is known for. I introduced my husband to this place and he 'd never tried Indian food before, but now this is where he demands to be brought every year for his birthday. Even my four year old loves it! Can 't say enough good things about this place. It had better always stay in business."

"My (now) husband and I just had our wedding at Gervasi last weekend and we can not say enough good things about this place! From the first time we visited, we fell in LOVE immediately. It was the wedding venue we toured and, needless to say, it was the last. We knew it was perfect. Our ceremony was held in the conservatory and, if you have a small wedding, we HIGHLY recommend. It was so intimate and gorgeous just perfect.The reception was held in the beautiful Villa Grande and all our guests had the best time. ALL the food was outstanding and the staff was unbelievable. We loved how convenient it was to stay in the villas directly behind the celebration space, as it made for a stress free weekend. The rehearsal dinner was held in the Cave and my jaw dropped at how beautiful everything was prepared that night. Could not recommend enough to host any event there.You absolutely get the sense that the staff at Gervasi simply cares. The level of detail and planning that goes into making your event and stay there enjoyable is remarkable. Truly cannot thank Gervasi staff enough for everything they did for us.Rooms: The villas are absolutely stunning! They transport you to Italy 100%. Our family loved all the amenities such as the heated towel bars in the bathrooms, stocked fridges, robes and slippers and the GORGEOUS fireplaces. They really make a statement. Each villa has a beautiful view of the pond and just really is worth every penny. I can't wait to go back and stay there again!Food drinks: The food at Gervasi never fails to impress. Everything I've tried there whether at the Bistro, Crush House, Cave, our wedding reception was OUTSTANDING. The food never gets old.Noteworthy details: What stood out to us the most was the staff's attitude and friendliness. They were all so willing to go out of their way for you, and we had many wonderful conversations with several of them throughout our weekend there."

"Authentic. Delicious. And Delicious. Don’t be fooled by the looks of the place but the food was freaking amazing!! The meats are so freaking tender and juicy and fall off the bone and the seasoning and spices just coming through and it’s just a beautiful dance in your mouth. I will be going back. Samosas were warm so that took away from it a bit, but they were still delicious regardless. Highly recommend"

"I've ordered from Amelia Grilled Burrito many times over the past year—at least twenty—and it has always been excellent, which is why I kept returning. However, on my birthday today, as it pours rain and my soccer team just lost, I received my first disappointing meal from them. I ordered nachos and a chicken tinga tostada. Unfortunately, the chicken on the tostada was undercooked and pink, making it inedible. The chips for the nachos were either stale or improperly cooked, the cheese was sparse and not melted, and there were no beans to be found. Overall, both dishes seemed thrown together and lacked the usual quality I’ve come to expect. It feels like a case of a new cook not managing to meet their typical high standards. Additionally, I found a hair in the rice."

"Do not let the Thai/Chinese signage deceive you. This restaurant offers Thai and genuinely authentic Chinese cuisine (leaning more towards Chinese but still excellent). The only exception is the Thai iced tea, which is made with heavy cream instead of the traditional condensed milk. By local standards, this is a more upscale choice that is straightforward, clean, and satisfying. While it may not be fine dining, it does offer delicious and reliable classic Asian dishes."

Stefania and her staff were able to completely transform our main floor into beautifully functional spaces that our family will enjoy for the next season of our lives. We had floor to ceiling projects and no area was left untouched! From kitchen cabinets and countertops, new appliances, new flooring, paint throughout, bathroom was redone, new furniture, window treatments, artwork, and even accessories, no detail was overlooked. The contractors Stefania used were professional, reliable, and performed high-quality work. Her design selections were spot on and she or her staff were on-site every step of the way. We love the new look of the total transformation!"
