"Update: Willy B?s reversed the charges to our credit card without any prompting or me asking. I appreciate them taking care of that. ????? I would rate the food but we walked out empty-handed. Instead I?ll rate my experience: We are not from Jackson, but we were here visiting our daughter, son-in-law, and their new baby. We placed an online order at 3:45pm on Sunday for pickup that same day at 5:45pm. The plan was to bring the new family a nice dinner and have a visit with them. They asked us to be there at 6:00 to coordinate with our granddaughter?s feeding and sleep schedule. When we arrived on site the staff appeared as if they weren?t expecting us. A few minutes later they told us our order was in the kitchen and would be out shortly. The order was three blue plates, one seafood basket and two appetizers, totaling around $120. As we waited, another person who was also waiting for their carry-out order was approached by one of the staff. They came and apologized to the other patron as it appeared they had given their food to someone else and they were going to have to remake it. I thought ?That sucks, but nice of them to own it.? I was also impressed with the speed in which they remade the order. I believe they even gave them free deserts. We continued to wait, watching the person get their re-make, as well as seven other carry-out customers come and go. We also watched at least two parties come, dine in, and leave. We waited patiently as the staff continued to approach us, saying our order was in the kitchen. One of the staff even offered the excuse that sometimes online orders don?t make it in. Despite that, my credit card showed a hold for the charge so I felt that a weak excuse at best. I was also struck that, despite an apology to the other patron who?s food was released to the wrong customer, we simply were told the same thing over and over, ?it?s in the kitchen.? At 7:00pm, after having waited for 1 hour and 15 minutes, we simply got up and wa"

From the moment I walked into the cozy restaurant, the tantalizing aroma of sizzling chicken and grilled burgers filled the air, promising a scrumptious dining experience. Now, let's talk about the star of the show the burgers. Oh, what a treat it was! Pop's Chicken offers a range of mouthwatering burgers that cater to every taste. The Classic Cheeseburger, with its juicy patty and perfectly melted cheese, was a nostalgic delight. The BBQ Bacon Burger, smothered in tangy barbecue sauce and topped with crispy bacon, was a flavor explosion that left me wanting more. But what truly made my visit exceptional was the outstanding service from our wonderful waitress, Lily. Her warm and attentive demeanor made us feel like valued customers from the moment we walked in. Lily's knowledge of the menu and her genuine enthusiasm for Pop's Chicken's offerings were evident as she guided us through the burger choices, making excellent recommendations that suited our tastes perfectly. "My husband ordered the BBQ platter, which he thought was decent. My mother had the beef brisket sandwich, but it was dry, and when she requested a piece of cornbread, she received a small end piece and was charged $2.50 for it. As for me, I ordered the Flat Rock Salad, described on their website as being filled with fresh berries, grilled pineapple, walnuts, and spring mix greens drizzled with apple vinaigrette. The accompanying picture looked appetizing, but what I received was disappointing: a plate that was 98% romaine lettuce, topped with a small amount of canned pineapple (not grilled), a few slices of strawberries and blueberries, and no walnuts, all for $13.99. I asked our server for some walnuts, which she kindly brought, but I pointed out that the salad had very little beyond the lettuce. Soon after, the manager came out, appearing quite agitated. He insisted that the portions were correct, and when I suggested he alter the salad's description, I expressed how it felt like I was eating mostly lettuce. Instead of addressing my concerns, he simply turned and walked away without any apology or effort to resolve the situation. Later, as we were discussing our experience with the server, another manager approached us, inquiring if we were still talking about feeling like a "squirrel or rabbit." When my husband reiterated that the salad was mostly lettuce, the manager curtly responded, “PAY YOUR BILL AND LEAVE!” before storming off. It was astonishingly rude. We've never encountered such poor treatment at a restaurant before. After settling our bill, I noticed that one of the managers was standing by the window, signaling for the server to return, which made us feel sympathetic towards her. It's disheartening to think how he might be treating his staff if he behaves this way toward customers. If we'd been aware of previous reviews criticizing the managers' attitudes, we would have chosen a different restaurant. I hope word spreads about our experience. I genuinely question how this place can stay in business with such poor customer service. It’s true what they say: what goes around, comes around. Oh, and my Facebook review was blocked!
