"My wife and I were driving through Utica on a long journey and decided to stay the night. The next morning, we were hungry and looking for a good, simple meal. With the help of Google, we came across Golden’s Diner. It was a fantastic experience for both of us. The restaurant had an eclectic yet functional vibe, with mostly bar stools for seating, typical of a diner. While the kitchen area behind the counter was small, chef/owner Jeff Golden had perfected his craft and equipment to offer a wide selection of delicious dishes. We opted for some classic breakfast items and were extremely satisfied with our meal. Jeff was friendly and willing to share his story when it was quiet, without being intrusive. If you enjoy excellent food in a unique setting with a talented chef, make sure to visit this place! Vegetarian options were available - although we are not vegetarians, we noticed two customers asking for vegan options and they seemed very happy with their meals."
