It was a 4 Course Chef diner with wine pairings for a party of 6. Manager, Trey set us up outside which we loved. "Writing this to be constructive and actionable feedback. I really wanted to like this place but fell significantly short of expectations.First, the restaurant should have cold water for guests waiting in the patio. This is a low cost way to make guests feel welcome and comfortable while they wait.Second, once open the staff should come out and greet guests, not leave them wondering if the restaurant is open for business.Third, all host and wait staff should be ready to quickly seat guests. No guests should wait unnecessarily, especially if the restaurant is not busy.Forth, kitchen staff must try all dishes. All of my dishes were almost inedible salty. This is not acceptable for a restaurant of this caliber, and it ruins what are otherwise top tier local ingredients.Fifth, all parts of the restaurant must be spotless. A few important areas weren’t during my visit, despite us being among the first guests in the restaurant.This place has one of the most beautiful venues I’ve seen in MD. The seafood is top tier. Closer attention should be paid on the items above so the restaurant lives up to the reviews and venue."

"We wandered and stumbled over Mavericks. We arrived and were quickly taken back to a high table. The host quickly passed before there was an opportunity to let him know that we need a lower table. While I do not necessarily look sick, I have some health conditions and I cannot sit on a high chair. My husband went back to the front and waited until he let the host know we needed another table. He didn't look happy, and my husband even mentioned that he thought he was crazy. This, along with the coloured menus, has not started well. But things smoothed and dinner was indispensable. The menu included a simple variety, a rice bowl option, a burger, a steak, a pasta option, a taco option, etc. The star of the menu seemed to be a huge pulp. We saw many of them past different tables. My husband went with tacos with crispy chickens. I landed with smashed crime scenes (without cheese). While it seemed simple enough, they were very well done and tasted better than I expected. Waitstaff was busy, sitting inside and the large outdoor seats available. If you're looking for a place to hang out with friends and drink a drink, that would be the place to go. The bar looked fantastic, many drinking possibilities, and the environment was perfect for different group sizes to come together. For someone like me, with very limited food options, it worked fine."

"We spent the day in the Bishops Arts area. Stopped in Enzo's with a party of 6 for pizza. We had salads, artichoke dip and pizza. The bartender was very friendly. The waiter was attentive. The artichoke dip was good, totally different than the usual, salads were fresh, the pizza is more of a flat bread. It is like pizza toppings on a cracker. It was a nice change and everyone enjoyed it but it was not the usual pizza. The atmosphere is lively and the restaurant has a great location. We had a good time and would come again."

"This was our second visit. The first time I had the T-bone and it was possibly the best steak I've ever had. This time I had the New York Strip and it was not nearly as good as the T-bone. I don't know if it was the way it was prepared or if it was just a lesser quality cut. The sides were great with the exception of the brussel sprouts. They were very tough and I was not a fan of the seasoning. We rarely spend this amount of money dining out and was a little disappointed. The hostesses were polite and the waitress was knowledgeable and friendly."

"TLDR Absolutely Eat HERE! Martinis almost never disappoints me. Being from California we have lots of fine dining options. But in Burlington there are only a couple, and Martinis will always be my first choice. The chicken lips are absolutely to die for. Who knew a piece of chicken could be so delicious?!? The shrimp cocktail was small but perfect. We’ve had almost every entree on the menu at this point, and I’m sorry to say I can’t pick one over the other. All delicious. Deserts are wonderful we had the butterscotch bomb last night and it was soooooo good. Drinks all carefully crafted and high end. 10 out of 10 would recommend."

"Let's discuss the positives first: The ambiance is truly remarkable. The interior designer of this restaurant did an excellent job. It creates a warm and inviting atmosphere that feels upscale. Each room has its own unique vibe, with lovely trim work on the walls and moldings. Now, onto the negatives: The service started off well but gradually declined. My water was never refilled, and when our bottle was empty, we weren't even offered more. I've never experienced a restaurant that doesn't package your leftovers for you. Our server simply dropped off the boxes and wished us a nice evening. I was quite surprised by that. After spending $200, having to box up my own food was disappointing. I ordered the ribeye because the pictures made it look like a fantastic choice. We also opted for the "three for $35" sides, choosing broccolini, mashed potatoes, and mac and cheese. Since our dinner reservation was later in the evening, we only had the cornbread as an appetizer. Unfortunately, nothing was enjoyable; it looked appealing but didn't taste good. My steak was a poor cut, and for an $85 steak, the quality was subpar—even in the dim lighting, it appeared gray. The sides were mediocre at best; the mac and cheese was essentially just noodles with melted cheese on top. Typically, these are standout dishes at steak restaurants. We even brought the leftovers home for our 2-year-old, who usually enjoys these items, but she wouldn’t eat them either. It’s possible that the food was off that night since I arrived at 9:30 PM and didn't get my meal until 10:45 PM, suggesting they might have been short-staffed. However, I wouldn't return to this restaurant unless it was just for drinks or if there were an event that made the ambiance appealing. I hope this review provides some insight into what you can expect."

"This pizza is insanely delicious. I haven’t been to this brick and mortar restaurant, but Tufino had a pop-up tent in front of ICONYC brewery in Long Island City and I had the pleasure of tasting a margarita pizza $16) and it was excellent. The prized experience was adding their spicy oil and truffle oil which was absolutely the best. I’ll be going to Tufino’s restaurant if I’m ever in the neighborhood and also recommend getting it if you’re ever at ICONYC in LIC."

The vibe and feel that I got for the restaurant was more of a quieter setting, but it was a complete opposite. "The service started off poorly when my wife was told that the server didn't have time to make a drink that was on their menu. When we brought this to the manager’s attention, Mike, he seemed unprepared to address our concerns and appeared intimidated rather than taking a proactive approach. "My wife and i went there deliberately early 5:30pm sitting so it was understandably empty with no ambience...nice menu...excellent service from Mary ? ....my wife's food was apparently perfect oysters followed by scallops however my food was disappointing...I ordered the veal bone-in chop...firstly it was very chewy and hard to cut even with a steak knife, but then it was smothered in an overpowering gravy which completely masked the flavor of the veal...very salty and something I'd expect at a cheap diner...a shame because it will be my lasting memory and will dissuade me from going back there."

"Man, this is tough. I really love this location and want someone, anyone to have a successful operation there.Last night went there with wife and couple of friends for dinner. Walk in and see a sign greeting us asking us to seat ourselves. Ok. So we sit down, multiple people walk by we say hi but no one tells us that there are no wait staff until we happen to see the small sign laying on its side on the table telling us we need to order at the bar.So we do that which just detracts from the experience. Food was just barely acceptable. Burgers and bar food are ok, actual meals like salmon and try tip dinner not really. Not once did anyone check to see if we wanted to order another drink. You want one, order at the bar. I think this place is missing out on a lot of revenue by not asking people if they wanted another drink.Bottom line, I never realized how big a part of the dining experience having wait staff was, but it is. We all agreed that was our last trip there, which is disappointing, because we all really wanted to love it."
