"love that sincean sandwich! they have no vegan cheese (they wear vegan mayo,) but the sandwich was so good that it didn't even need cheese! this was also the perfect portable meal for my long flight back to chicago. the hired were nice enough to pack my sandwich so it wouldn't get out and it's fresh. in retrospect, I would have bought two sandwiches before I left because that sandwich was so good. the taste of the since then was great and as it was cooked and cut, contributed a lot to the size of the sandwich. I'm sure if they vegan cheese added to sandwich it would be from this world. I'm back at my next visit!"

"During my first visit to Valentine, I decided to take my family to this café based on its excellent reviews, especially the rave mentions about their cakes—and they did not disappoint. The food was not only tasty and served hot, but the prices were incredibly reasonable. Seriously, when was the last time you had a cup of coffee for just 50 cents? Or a slice of cake for under $4? In my opinion, this place is a favorite among both locals and tourists. I would highly recommend everything we tried, including: grilled cheese, grilled ham and cheese, a BLT with fries, chocolate cake paired with a cup of coffee, pumpkin cake à la mode, and cherry cake with whipped cream."

"The food at the restaurant was fantastic! I highly recommend trying the fried mushrooms and the jalapeño popper burger. Asia, the bartender, is exceptional! However, I feel the owner should be more thoughtful about hiring practices and ensuring that candidates have the necessary qualifications before they’re brought on board. My husband worked there as a cook and enjoyed his job, but unfortunately, it came to an abrupt end because he didn’t have a management food safety certificate, which he wasn’t given the chance to obtain. Meanwhile, the cook who was there before him worked for seven weeks without having the certificate either. I understand the importance of following protocols, but these standards should be consistently applied to all employees."
