"If I could offer one piece of advice, it would be to rephrase the way you ask about reservations. Asking, "Do you have reservations?" can come off as a bit off-putting. There are plenty of dining options in Havre de Grace, and if someone chooses to visit your restaurant, it might be better to phrase it differently, such as, "Table for two? Sure! Did you happen to make a reservation?" If the parking lot is packed, it's clear that reservations might be needed. But if I’m walking in with an empty stomach and am surrounded by several other choices, it feels a little awkward to be asked about reservations when you're going to seat us anyway.
