"Edit: We decided to come back the next evening to try the food after looking at the menu, which seemed promising. However, it turned out to be a huge disappointment—almost comical, really. The dishes sounded like they could be authentic local Creole Southern New Orleans cuisine, but what we received resembled frozen dinners instead. It was truly disheartening—shrimp that were shriveled and flavorless, a duck soup that was more like broth, and a crab cake that contained no crab at all—just a bread cake, which was entirely and remarkably underwhelming. I can't stress this enough: if your job is to serve food, that should be your main focus! All you need to do is create good food, and this experience fell far short of that standard, a trend I'm seeing more and more these days."
