"That was good. we had a reservation for 730. the table where they originally wanted to sit on us would have had absolutely no place for everything like sardinen. we asked ourselves politely to be moved, which was accommodated without problems. I think they had a server that is a common problem in the industry, and we understand that our waiter was only unnecessarily inconspicuous. a person in our party ordered an salat for an appetizer and it was the only appetizer not to come out. the poor guy waited for almost 30 minutes for a cold salad. I ordered the caribbean tripleta sandwich. the whole meat was stacked in the middle of the sandwich so that almost half of the brotes had nothing on it. I ordered red beans and rice instead of pommes for the $ 1 fee I like to pay, but unfortunately my red beans were like small rocks, not even cooked. we ordered several rounds of drinks during our meal, but the last beer that my friend ordered was forgotten and brought the review at the same time. at this point we were too late for another reservation so that they did not get to drink and it was not taken out of the bill. Overall, it was no experience that I would be happy to repeat so I don't think I'm returning. oh the plantains my friend with the super dry huh got fire although, probably the best on our table, next to the caesar salat, the dressing had to be homemade because it was very good."

"We started our meal with a bottle of red wine we brought along and some marinated olives. Although they were listed as warm, they arrived hot, delicious, and tender, beautifully seasoned with spices and salt. For our second course, I ordered a mixed greens salad with basil dressing, sweet corn, and tomatoes, while my husband chose the heirloom tomato gazpacho, which was spicy, chilled, and bursting with flavor. I was surprised to see that it was yellow—something I had never encountered before! Our server explained that this was due to the locally grown tomatoes, which naturally come in yellow and green varieties. For the main course, I went for the fish special, which was halibut served on a bed of sweet corn, potatoes, and zucchini, topped with a tomato sauce. The kitchen kindly adjusted the dish for me since I can’t eat dairy. My husband indulged in a Spaghettini Prunesca, a dish he hadn't enjoyed since his time in Europe. He loved it and remarked how uniquely it was prepared, filled with seafood and plenty of herbs. To finish our meal, we chose the house-made sorbets: strawberry, honeydew, and another type of melon. They were simply irresistible, especially given the warm weather. To our delight, our server surprised us with a complimentary glass of port to celebrate our anniversary. Undoubtedly, the warm and friendly service combined with the outstanding food made this experience truly unforgettable. Thank you, Bistro, for having such wonderful staff and creative dishes that excite our taste buds. You made our anniversary a night to remember!"
