"I usually order from this restaurant at least twice a month and even chose it for my birthday celebration. I highly recommend it to others. I always stick to my usual order, which I have saved in DoorDash. However, this time was different. The portion was noticeably smaller, and some of the food tasted a bit off. I was particularly surprised by the crawfish; they’re normally quite large with big claws, but this time they were smaller, and many of them were missing their claws and legs. I'm unsure, but I’ll give it another chance because I was quite disappointed with my last order."

"Ive gotten food from crab du jour three times now, each time attempting to try and tolerate the food. Every time, the only thing that was genuinely good were the potatoes and corn. I.AR the things that just taste good with seasoning. Three times now the crawfish/crab whatever have been horrible over cooked and have just a horrible flavor. They obviously buy the cheapest possible as evident by the crawfish filled to the brim with their literal poop. Ive tried many times to support this business and pray for a good Cajun/seafood place in town. Im telling you right now, this isnt the place. This is the first negative review Ive written in ages. Save that ridiculously overpriced $16 po boy money and just get a mcchickn. You wont regret it."

"The Crispy Shrimp Basket (8 pieces) was fantastic; the shrimp were crispy and flavorful, and the fries were perfectly golden and well-seasoned. It comes with a tasty tartar sauce. The Gumbo Soup had wonderful flavor as well. However, while the Crab Meat Fries had nice fries, the crab meat was dry and didn't really enhance the dish."

"This was my first time at Hook n Reel and I was very pleased with the service. ALL of the staff even though they were not our assigned servers greeted us when they passed us, made us laugh, and followed up to make sure we were satisfied with our meal and if we needed anything. The manger did as well. They sang happy bday to my friend and brought her cheesecake. The server Sapphire 8 I forgot her name) kindly split the bill between us 4 and gave us separate checks. I ordered the shrimp seafood boil a half a pound and did not get full, I should have ordered a pound, then I ordered the crab meat fries. I forgot to take a picture of the fries, but they were delicious. The seafood boil tasted great in garlic butter. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others as the service was excellent, and it is very evident their goal is to satisfy their customers. Every single staff member was kind and the prices are reasonable. We went on a Tuesday evening during happy hour and the waitress reminded us 5 min before HH ended if we wanted another drink to order one/ Margaritas are $5 FYI during HH."

"I went to crafty crabs yesterday. I was a little hesitant about going there as I am ot a crab lover, nor do I eat crab. I decided to check it out to see if they featured other seafood like fish and shrimp. I ordered their shrimp basket, and I loved it! The food was absolutely delicious! The restaurant decorum had a fishermen's vibe which really impressed me. The service was great, and the staff was friendly. I didn't have to wait long before I was seated and greeted by the waitstaff. I definitely will be going back to try the catfish."

"Brought my son here for his birthday. 5 star food and the server Miana who was also the bartender was serving tableside. I could not have asked for a better server. She was amazing at juggling the two jobs she had to do on her shift. I recommend coming here for birthday celebrations. They give you complimentary champagne, appetizer, and dessert for the birthday guest. I recommend the seafood combo."
