"Have frequented the Rio for years. Recently during Covid I have been making reservations as I understand it makes it easier for restaurants to utilize limited seating. I also understand seating requests can not always be honored. On this visit I did make a request for a particular table indoors, or if not available a booth. When we arrived I stated we had made a reservation I also saw that the table we requested was occupied, which was fine. The young woman at the host stand surely was able to see the requests on her screen, but instead of acknowledging those requests mumbled she could seat us on the patio, or by way of pointing a table in the middle of the dining room. A person with any skills would have offered alternatives....I see you made a seating request, but we don't have those tables available right now, or those tables are not available at the moment, but you're welcome to wait. I also would be willing to bet that none of the people seated at any of the tables requested had made a reservation. If that was the case the front door should be looking ahead at reservations and hold one of the requested tables for a person who always makes a reservation, always keeps the reservation and arrives on time for that reservation. The way in which the situation was handled at the front desk tainted the entire experience. I also feel the service this visit was somewhat curt, which normally isn't the case. As I said earlier I've been coming to the Rio for years. We would drive from Denver to Fort Collins to eat there when they first opened. There have always been ups and downs with them over the years with food. Recently we primarily go to the Denver Rio. Over the past few years the food has often been over salted and generally inconsistent. One time it's great the next time not so much. The only thing that has always remained a constant are the Margaritas. All this aside In hopes of past experiences there we will continue to be patrons."

"We are repeat customers of ChaCha 's and have been coming for years. We typically order the same dishes, but when we 've tried new things we haven 't been disappointed. The Carnitas here is special, lots of crispy bits every time, a very generous portion, good veggie accompaniments and excellent flavor (original recipe and their updated one as well). My partner typically enjoys the trio of different enchiladas. Chacha 's is a cut above on quality of food and flavor, they are a cut above on overall atmosphere and service is typically a huge cut above most restaurants in the area. Today 's server, Omar Lopez, delivered on that point perfectly. He 's obviously a professional server and it shows. I can 't tell you how much I enjoy having a server that is an expert at their craft and able to make a dining experience memorable. I would ask specifically for him next time. Their prices here are on par with any other full service Mexican restaurant. Delivering higher quality all around for the same price as anywhere else? That 's excellent value. This is not a hole in the wall taqueria or a small family-run establishment; we enjoy that kind of vibe as well, but ChaCha 's IS a breath of fresh air, a clearly well thought out concept, and a consistently nice experience. I personally dig the are we indoors or outdoors? vibe and there is often live music on the weekends that fits in perfectly. This place definitely attracts a trendy crowd and they offer a brunch menu and bottomless mimosas to them. If that 's your thing, have at it here. We typically make a reservation to be safe and I 've seen looong waits before. As good as this place is, I wouldn 't wait 45 minutes. Just make a reservation and you 're good to go."

"Went there to eat dinner and watch the game. Bartender was also the waitress. After 15 minutes she came and asked us if we were eating and drinking we replied yes then she turned and walked away never asked about our drink order? After 15 minutes of waiting we went to the other side of the restaurant. We sit down as a party of 3. Served immediately with water and menus. We ordered two cocktails and one 7-Up, two of us received our cocktails. 3rd person in our party ordered a 7-up, did not receive so we asked 3 times about the 3rd drink? Waited 10 more minutes and nothing. We then asked the bus boy for 7-up which he then said, they do not have 7-up so it was switched to Sprite . We then received a drink full of soda water? After asking again for it to be corrected it was.... Now we come to the food. 2 of the orders came out but not the 3rd order for the same person did not. Frustrated when finally the food on the 3rd order came out, his fish and chips were not only over cooked they were burnt to a crisp! Fish was only 1/4 pieces of the filet? Onion rings as well over cooked. When we asked to have his plate to be corrected the waitress stated it looks fine to me, good luck somewhere else reached across us and took all of our plates. Now being a server I was astonished that this would ever happen? I get there are ups and downs in the restaurant business but coming from a woman who has family in the business, I would only ask the owner of the establishment to have better training and service. We have been here before, everything was great so we brought our out of town guest to enjoy a great dinner on the peninsula.... Needless to say we do not recommend."

"Nestled in a lovely walled space adorned with twinkly lights and equipped with heaters for comfort, our dining experience at R40 was nothing short of delightful. Opting for outdoor seating, we were immediately drawn to the inviting ambiance. To start, we indulged in the Warm Olives and Sweet Onion Focaccia appetizers, which set the tone for the culinary journey ahead. The olives were perfectly seasoned, and the focaccia was irresistibly fluffy with a subtle hint of sweetness. For the main course, we savored two standout dishes: the Skirt Steak and the Whole Branzino. The Skirt Steak was cooked to perfection, tender and bursting with flavor, while the Whole Branzino offered a delightful freshness. To accompany our meal, we opted for the refreshing and vibrant Patagonia Spritz. The combination of Lambrusco, Aperol, Orange, Strawberry, Lemon, and Club Soda was a symphony of flavors that perfectly complemented the dishes. What truly elevated our dining experience was the attentive service provided by the staff. From the moment we arrived until we left, the staff ensured that we felt welcomed and attended to, adding an extra layer of warmth to our evening. Overall, our experience at R40 was exceptional. From the charming outdoor ambiance to the delectable dishes, refreshing cocktails, and attentive service, every aspect of our dining experience was a true delight. We look forward to returning soon to indulge in more culinary delights!"
