"I have visited this restaurant around 2 times per year for several years. However, my most recent visit has left me hesitant to return as the food was average at best. The appetizers of baked oysters and fried mushrooms were decent, although the oysters were not very warm. The shiitake mushrooms were a generous portion. The crab cake entree was disappointing compared to previous visits, lacking in crab flavor despite being large. The grouper special was a bit tough and overcooked, likely due to the thin filet. The food was somewhat greasy. On the positive side, the view was nice and the waiter was attentive. I may consider returning to try the oyster stew and soups as well as opting for a meal of appetizers. It is possible that this was just an off day for the restaurant and things may improve in the future. Alternatively, it could be that the restaurant is cutting back on more expensive ingredients. I may give it another try in the future."

"14 Hudson is a great spot for brunch in Piermont. Four of us all had different brunch choices and all were very good. A drink was included in the brunch price. The noise level was moderate and the room was bright and lively. Service was very good. Will certainly visit this restaurant again for brunch."

"I have been back to this restaurant twice since it's been taken over by new management. And it has been WONDERFUL both visits. We had some quick appetizers on our first visit back, in case the food had lost its quality, but shockingly the food was delicious. The potato skins were creamy and melty with tons of cheese and the fried calamari was delicious. Our second visit back we got the same wonderful waitress we had previously and I got the clam chowder and a Caesar salad. The chowder was excellent and the Caesar salad was great too. (It appeared dry at first but the dressing was on there). The atmosphere of the restaurant is way different than I remember when I worked there 13-14 years ago, but a very comfortable atmosphere for either a family occasion or a date."

"We have family visiting from out of town and we were excited to get a reservation for a party of 8 at the last minute on a Sunday at 11:30. But, we were frustrated when we learned that breakfast ended at 11 am, and the restaurant was closed from 11 until 11:30 to set up for brunch buffet. And we could only order from the buffet or the lunch menu. Some of us wanted breakfast, but we did not want to pay $29. I ordered the quinoa bowl and it was disappointing. First of all, there was no bowl, it was a plate that was overflowing with quinoa, and not much else. The butternut squash was hard and cold. The chickpeas were good. But the ratio of quinoa to everything else was overwhelming. Those who got the buffet thought the food was good."

"Best burger in Denver That's what the sign hanging above the door says. So I had to try this place out. Went for dinner around 6pm on a Friday. To my surprise, no long wait. We were instantly seated, and greeted by our waitress. We had our drinks and put in our order in a matter of minutes. Incredible! On to the good part, the burger. I have attached pictures of my burger. I ordered the Hangover steak burger. Egg over medium. One bite and I knew, this is the best burger I have had in a long time! Best in Denver? Debatable.. but an incredibly good burger, absolutely!! Environment was diner style, and looked very family friendly. Coloring menus and crayons were available for kids. Overall, I highly recommend you go check this restaurant out. You will enjoy the great quality food,and fast friendly service."

"Prior to us making the reservation we specifically asked if this was a family friendly venue, they stated it was and we made reservations for 12. Upon arriving, the front door had no handle just screws to pull on and was locked. The waitress took the first group of people at the door, but failed to allow our family to come in leaving us outside in the freezing cold and we all know how cold the weathers been. A gentleman from inside opened the door for us after a few minutes because we could see through the glass the waitress sat the other group and never bothered to come open the door.Already disappointed with being left out in the cold, the waitress goes on to explain they had no highchairs and no low tables, just bar tables and stools. We drove 45 minutes from Mass to have to leave with a party of 7 people in tow. The waitress was rude and couldn't be bothered."
