"I can't believe I've waited so long to try this place. Came here for a celebratory dinner when a college friend was in town and was able to easily make a reservation (with LOTS of time options for our large group of 8 on short notice. There is plenty of free street parking (and a few paid, $3 4 parking lots nearby, and it's always a huge bonus to me when the parking situation is easy. The inside of the restaurant is decently spacious with one curtained off area and a larger back area for private events. We opted to sit outside, because it was a beautiful warm evening and we figured our group would be a bit loud rambunctious and didn't want to disturb other patrons. (And we were lucky enough to have the patio largely to ourselves most of the night! Made our gathering feel private wonderful! Hands down, my favorite thing about the restaurant is the service here. We ordered drinks and food slowly, over 3 hours, and stayed after the restaurant has even closed. Our server, Cameron, was attentive and helpful with the menu and SO chill in letting us just really have a relaxed meal and good time and I'd come here again with a big group just to have the kind of special experience Cameron crafted for us. Food wise, we opted to order a bunch of appetizers (8 9 orders for our group of 8 , each order and entree, and then share two desserts, per our waiter's advice. I definitely felt full at the end but not overstuffed, so would be mindful that plates are on the smaller end here. Our standout appetizers were easily the focaccia with whipped ricotta and honey (we ordered 4 of these for our table! and the tuna belly ceviche which was so light and delicate. The potato pave was a bit of a letdown for us, and I thought the turnip dish was good but nothing to write home about. The swoon worthy entrees in our group were easily the roasted duck breast and the mussels ravioli. *chefs kiss* The swordfish schnitzel was decent but smothered in sauce, which detracted a bit from the dish. Lot of incredible cocktails at this place, and the lavender, brown butter washes rum drink was a table favorite I think almost everyone ended up ordering that. I'd love to come back here during happy hour and just do drinks and that addictive focaccia situation. In total, our meal ended up being a bit more pricey than similar places I've been to (and some of that may have been because we all ordered multiple cocktails and cocktails are around $15 16 here , so I think I'd stick to coming here for a nice r outing, but this place is such a fun and awesome experience for a foodie!"

"I called around noon to make a reservation for six people, and they were able to accommodate us for the same night at 6:30 pm. Later in the day, around 4 pm, I called to add an additional person, and that wasn 't an issue. When we arrived at 6:25 pm, the restaurant was bustling, so I was relieved that I had made reservations. However, when I informed the hostess about our 6:30 pm reservation, I was told they don 't take reservations but only call aheads. This was news to me, as it wasn 't mentioned when I called twice earlier in the day. Fortunately, we only had to wait about 10 minutes for our table. Once seated, we placed our orders, but it took over an hour before our food arrived. Our server did keep us informed that our table was next, but we still waited another 20 minutes until the food was on our table. I 've dined at this restaurant before and enjoyed the food, but on this particular night, it didn 't meet my expectations. The food was just okay. We ordered a variety of dishes, including the salmon special, salmon entrée, schnitzel sandwich, schnitzel entrée, and chicken tenders for the kids. Considering the cost and what we received, we probably won 't be returning. It 's not worth the drive and the uncertainty of whether it was just an off night for the kitchen. On a positive note, our server was attentive, personable, and ensured our drinks were always replenished, which was the one aspect she had control over. As a side note, the restaurant doesn 't offer anything special for birthday celebrations."
