"I know I've already reviewed Harbor deli but I have to review it again! Let me start by saying a few days before my daughter got married in July 2022 we were informed that the entire day we're getting ready and taking photos getting ready there was no food included. Plenty of mimosas and coffee or juices but no food. I called Harbor deli and asked them to make me some platters last minute to pick up first thing in the morning on my daughters wedding day not only did they out do themselves but they threw in a fruit platter as a congratulations. Now today is Labor Day and just happens to be my birthday and I wake up in the morning and my teenage daughter slept out and my husband is at an early fire house event, and I'm hungry for breakfast and all I could think about is it's a holiday I'm gonna have to cook myself breakfast on my birthday. Nope Harbor deli is open!!! And they are making me my birthday breakfast and my mom who lives upstairs her favorite egg sandwich. Harbor deli is amazing! Always fresh delicious food, always reliable, mine and my families favorite deli!"

"I ordered pizza and wings for pick-up and checked the prices online beforehand. However, when I went to pick up my order, I was charged $14 more than expected. When I inquired about the discrepancy, I was told it was due to the extra cheese. When I got home, I double-checked and called them back, but I was just given the runaround with no clear answers. I've decided not to go back. Be cautious when ordering from them; they claim that the prices online are incorrect but haven't updated them. I can't shake the feeling that I was treated unfairly because I'm a woman."

"Called ahead and was told it was twenty minutes until my 6 bagel sandwich order was ready. It actually took 40 minutes and they had to chase after me with my muffin they forgot. Oh and the lights weren?t even on when I walked in which was almost an hourafter they opened. Just speaks to their organization which there was none! Service was horrendous, they dropped my order on thefloor! I went to pay and found out what I thought would be a $30 order was over $40!! I?ve also never been to a bagel shop thatonly puts one egg on each sandwich, so not only is it overpriced but it?s cheap. The Dunkin next store is getting all of mybusiness and I recommend to everyone that they do the same."

"I placed an online order and went to pick it up. There are two side to the small counter, both well marked with multiple signs reading “order” and the one end and “pick up” at the other. The pickup side has multiple signs and also the signs for Grubhub and online order stuff. I showed up a little early then the latest pickup time and was waiting in the pick up area. The counter is small so I know the girl saw me, but it seemed like she was actively avoiding looking at me. I waited about ten minutes assuming she must know there’s nothing ready or something, and maybe that’s why she didn’t ask me my name for the order. But after I realized there was an order on the back counter I finally went to the order line to ask if it was mine since she didn’t seem to care to ask me. As I walked up she asked me “are you ready to order?”, I was so confused because I had clearly been waiting to pick something up. I stumbled for a second and was like “uh no I’m picking up an order, as I pointed to where I was standing waiting at the pick-up area. So if she DID think that whole ten minutes I was thinking of what I wanted, why the heck would you not go up to the customer and ASK. Ask if they need help, or ask if they are ready, or I don’t know maybe ask if they are ordering or waiting to pick up. And yes the bag that was behind her the whole time was mine. P. S. The place was not busy and not one person came in while we just stood there, we were the only people the counter. There was a guy picking something up when we first got there and we stood behind him, she gave him his food and walked back to the other side of the counter where the waiting began."

"We went with great expectations from visiting and having a good meal a few years back. Our experience this time was very sub par overall. Maybe it was because it was a holiday and they had staffing issues. The food was way overpriced for what we received. My fish dish was poorly prepared and inedible. How can you ruin salmon and vegetables? They did! The salad was bagged lettuce with one small cherry tomato cut in half. That 's not a salad! My wife 's salad entre was school cafeteria quality with jarred dressing at fine dining prices. A real let down for all 3 of us. We could not wait to get out of there but couldn 't find our waiter for 20 minutes to get our bill! A very bad dining experience. There are better options."

"First time here, the woman taking orders reminded me of the stereotypical cashier from a dreaded cafeteria you would see in a comedy movie. She just needed the hair net. No greeting, no hello, no smile, no personality. The face of your company should be better than that. The food selection is huge. There is something for everyone. All types of sides as well and a big jar of pickles that looked like floating poop. Not appetizing at all! The decor is lots of hometown sports teams paraphernalia. We ordered the large roast beef sandwiches with cheese and sauce. I did not notice they served beer until it was too late. We were given our order number and that's it. We noticed the people after us went to sit after they ordered. We figured, ok, we will sit. A young girl (another person on auto-pilot, went around delivering food. She seemed to know where it was going except for our table, she yelled out my name (which was asked when we ordered). 7 years in Central Massachusetts and still had not found a decent roast beef place. The sandwiches were delicious! Toasty buttery bread, good ratio of sauce to beef. The fries/onion rings were standard. People kept staring, not sure why. We will definitely return for the sandwiches but we will get them to go."

"Worst Ever. My girlfriend and I went there for a late lunch as we live in the Manchester District and it was not far. Let me say, this is potentially the worst food I have ever had at a restaurant...that should frame it up for you. I had the fish and Chips while my girlfriend had the Italian melt with fries, and we both shared the crab bisque soup. The soup was not that bad. "Terrible, Petty, Unprofessional, Rude, Cheap, and Miserable. If I could give negative Stars, I would. I wouldn 't send my worst enemy to this place. They also run a satellite cafeteria in my office building at the Omni Building in Uniondale. The guy working behind the breakfast sandwhich counters is the embodiment of the word MISERABLE. He is so rude, you feel like you 're bothering him when you say Good morning, how are you? If you ask for a side of hot sauce forget about it he 'll slam the hot sauce on the counter afterwards. The old lady that works the register is probably the WORST part of this place. She disgusts me. I regularly come here and so do many of my colleagues, since it 's downstairs, on busy days it is convenient. One day I ordered a breakfast wrap $9.00 , which in general, has more wrap than egg protein. When i get to the register, I kindly mention to the register lady that I forgot to grab ketchup packets and that I would be grabbing them after paying for my wrap, and exiting through the entrance which is no uncommon . This lady then has the AUDACITY, to tell me not to take too much ketchup. Idk what to say at this point. I pause in amazement. Then i ask Why? and she goes on to tell me that last time i took way too much ketchup and that they yes THEYYY! are not ok with that and said something after seeing me. WHO ARE THEY?... The audacity to call me out and shame me on taking like 5 ketchup packets 1 WEEK PRIOR, when my office and the other offices in the building literally contribute thousands upon thousands of dollars annually to this business for terrible tasting food, the worst hours of operations and BURNT coffee. I am more than happy to pay even .25 cents per ketchup packet. Charge me. But to tell me that LAST TIME, i took too many ketchup packets. Are you serious? This is the worst business I have ever in 27 years on EARTH been to. This is one of many incidents that have occurred between the Stewart Ave location and the Omni cafeteria and my colleagues. Terrible people and less than mediocre food. If you are considering going here, please consider fasting instead."

"Seafood lovers will enjoy eating at this restaurant, but vegetarians and vegans may not understand why. Personally, I am not a fan of seafood restaurants where the vegetarian options are often expensive, lacking creativity, and have a hint of fishiness. I tried the kale salad, but some of it was discolored. I was dining with a group and did not choose the restaurant, but I would not recommend it to fellow vegetarians. There are a few salads that can be modified to be vegan-friendly, but with Green Elephant nearby, I would suggest going elsewhere if possible. Overall, my experience at this restaurant was not very enjoyable."

"our party was adults, two grade school boys and a year old. Service was quick enough to keep everyone happy and entertained, and the food was very good, as it always is. The waiters came and sang happy birthday and the kids were happy The only negative is that we made a reservation through Open Table, but when we got there they had no record of it. "You left the extra mile! Not often wait employees go out of the way, but our staff at the Ground Round went beyond our expectations. The food was delicious, but was overtaken by the staff. "I have always driven up Hope Street and gone past this deli. Well, this week I finally stopped in. I ordered a chicken cutlet (My go-to deli sandwich) on a wedge with cheese, tomatoes and ketchup and mayo. First things first: they made a QUALITY QUALITY sandwich. The cutlet has a nice crisp to it, and was not dry but juicy. The breading was not overwhelming but just right. The cheese, bacon , tomato all meshed well. Nothing was too loose or too messy. Second the customer service was great. A great atmosphere to walk into. Its always nice when you are greeted by a smile, conversation and to see that person behind the counter is actually enjoying themselves.I went back again to try out their meatball parm. On. The. Money. The meatballs are fresh and REAL. I am simple so I did not doctor this particular sandwich up much, but it was good for me and can be for you too.I recommend Ron's Deli if you want a great sandwich, great service, great prices. They will be seeing more of me thats for sure!"

"We went early (for specific reasons) and lucked into the early bird special. It was terrific. Appetizer, main course and dessert for $27. There were six of us, celebrating an 80th birthday. Four diners had the seafood chowder, deemed delicious, one the caesar salad and one the shrimp cocktail. It had 3 large delicious shrimp. Main course choices were steak tips and salmon (there were other choices as well) with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Dessert was a choice of chocolate cake, coconut cream cake or gelato or sorbet. Everything was delicious. We had glasses of wine, Riesling, sauvignon blanc and sangiovese also all delicious. The birthday boy was celebrated with a frosted round cake and candle. Our server Acely was outstanding, perky, fun and knowledgeable. Altogether, lovely experience."
