"Great place for community vibes. Only experienced terrible service one time. Repeatedly asked for a lemon (perhaps 5 times) and was always told of yes be right back with that lemon well that lemon of course never showed ruined my calamari dish. Other than that one night mixup I recommend this establishment. But of course 2 strikes for me AND YOUR OUT. Hopefully the experience will always be great like it 's usually been. Family vibes, date vibes, and single vibes. Come out and have a nice hour or more at Ben 's Crab Valley Stream."

"To be honest, I was a little sceptical at first. I mean, all they can eat seafood, hibachi and dim sum all at one place? but eating is delicious. well seasoned and heat level to their taste. great variety from which to order on the menu. we did the AYCE option and were not disappointed at all. the appetizers were on the spot mainly the bang bang garnel and fried calamari. the snow basket cluster is an additional cost, but it is worth it and the hibachi fried rice was really good. although the ambiente long john silvers vibes gave, it was clean and not too loud. Music playlist was on the point. the service was sometimes somewhat slow and the orders were not always accurate, but the owner came by and asked how everything was and he was great. overall we were very happy with our experience and plan to return soon."

"Mediocre. Service is minimal. Dungeness crab tastes stale — the inner part of the crab is even cold. Given the fact that the crab is actually cooked, I do suspect they cooked it in advance and froze the crab. The crab meat does not taste fresh and juicy at all. The mussels are tiny, you won’t get much in the shell. Overall, not recommended, and you can easily find much better options blocks away."

"I gave them 4 stars because of the hostess. I think she was probably a freshmen in college or senior in high school. She told me there was a 15 to 20 minute wait and she would call me when my table was ready. Okay nothing wrong with that except she started to walk away without taking down my information or putting me on a wait list. I said well are you going to put me on the wait list or how does this work. She said I will be right back, a few minutes later she returned with a tablet and took my info. We waited awhile and another person comes over and started to seat people that came in after us. I said I was on a waitlist and was the first person. I downloaded the app. She apologized and immediately sat us at a table. After all of that, the food was good. The lobster roll is small for $18. The fried pickles and shrimp tacos were good. I love garlic so the mussels and snow crab legs were good in the garlic butter sauce. We will probably go back."

"I was looking forward to visiting this place. I had seen their advertisements on social media. Everything shared looked great. I have to say I was sorely disappointed. The service was ok. The servers were nice but didn’t keep drinks filled. The oysters were the WORST oysters I have ever had in my life. I couldn’t eat them. The food was bland. One of the members of our crew got chicken tenders. One of the chicken tenders was so tough, she couldn’t bite it. We tried and couldn’t bite into it. We tried tearing it with our hands and couldn’t even tear it. The hush puppies were great. That was about the extent of our meal that was good. We paid a lot of money and was not happy with what we received. So disappointed."

"I live over a hour away from The Twisted Crab. this is the closest seafood boil near me.Two times previously i ordered take out and they forgot my crab legs (THE MOST IMPORTANT PART). The first time i let it slide because i wasn’t willing to drive over an hour just for crab legs the second time I called and the man said he can’t refund me but he can write my name down to come get the crab legs free of charge since they are the ones who forgot. Tonight i came in and asked for the man who told me to come and the server informed me that he doesn’t work there anymore which means i had to basically let it slide again.Tonight was my first time actually eating inside the restaurant and the server never asked did we need refills/another drink etc etc. My partner had to ask another server for a take out tray and he said okay and never came. We were looking for our original server just to see him and the other servers (including the one my partner asked for a tray) laughing by the bar instead of making sure the customers were alright.The original server only walked by once and as he was walking by he said “are we alright” and was already passed the table before we could answer instead of standing there waiting for a response.I end this to say this is a place of business. i’m not saying i don’t want the workers to have fun and enjoy their job because i 100% don’t mind the side convo but i would just respect and understand it more if they stopped at-least every few minutes to make sure we were okay then go back to talking and laughing."
