"We made reservations months in advance because this has always been our favorite restaurant. Unfortunately, we were seated in the alcove, which was extremely uncomfortable for me as I am over 6 feet tall. After placing our order, my wife chose a fish special, but when it arrived, it was cold. I also had to ask for more water twice, and no one checked in on us during our meal. We never received our check and ended up having to go to the entrance to pay. The staff mentioned they were short-staffed and had a lot of walk-ins, but we never saw a manager or owner during our visit. To make matters worse, there were fruit flies and house flies buzzing around our table. We've dined here many times while on vacation, but paying $44 for cold fish was unacceptable. We won't be returning."
