"Went for brunch as they have a lot of GF and can accommodate some DF options including substituting fruit and DF cake for dessert (dark chocolate dipped strawberries! . Everything was delicious but I suspect if you don't have dietary restrictions even better! Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"I have been a loyal patron of Prolific Oven since they first opened on University Avenue in Palo Alto, close to Stanford University. There are several reasons why I keep coming back to my favorite restaurant: 1. The food is outstanding; 2. The prices are reasonable; 3. The service is personal and exceptional; 4. The atmosphere is clean, safe, and inviting. While I have also visited their locations in Fremont and Sunnyvale, I tend to go to the Rivermark branch more often for one additional reason: 5. It’s conveniently located. Plus, I can enjoy their Wi-Fi while I’m there!"

"I typically don't write reviews on Yelp, but I felt the need to share my experience this time. I ordered from this conveyor belt sushi restaurant via UberEats, not expecting much. To my surprise, the raw dishes were incredibly fresh and delicious. The rolls were a generous size for the price, and their calamari was absolutely PERFECT! It may not be overly fancy, but I can definitely see it becoming my go-to spot for casual sushi. I'm really impressed and would love to dine there in person. Here's what I ordered: spider roll, Seattle roll (buy one get one free), eel nigiri, salmon sashimi, surf clam sashimi, and calamari."

"The staff was friendly, the lunch was delicious, and the cakes were outstanding! The bathroom was spotlessly clean. However, parking on the street is metered and quite limited during the weekdays."

"They have incredible variety here. I shared a box of many different varieties of Baklavah including pistachio. Extra syrup containers on the side for anyone wanting it sweeter was appreciated by my tasters. We also tried assorted cookies that were also delish. I look forward to tasting breads, and specialty cakes. 5 stars!"

"I have been three times. The sushi is really good. Fair portions, fresh fish, and good imitation crab making the base of a number of the roles. The service is terrible. Slow to take your order, slow to bring your check, it seems like there is just some general confusion. If you are a take charge kind of person, then just tell them what you need and they'll probably get it done, but don't wait for them to do it. I would like to see the service get better, because I would like to see this restaurant stay around."

"The cupcakes are amazing, they are very delicious and fresh BUT THE ATTENTION OF ONE EMPLOYEE WAS SO BAD AND RUDE WITH THE CLIENT. It was in the central ave location in Jersey City. I was in the side of your pastries not inside where your employee was working but the way that your other employee was with me I did not like it. I work with clients too and she was very rude with a client. I definitely I will come back because your pastries are so good only you have to be careful with your employees how they are with the clients."

"Really nice cozy place, and the one thing they have that no one else does, is an extremely good violin player who plays in the outdoor area. I've learned a little violin and this guy is *good* I've lived in San Jose for years now and the violin player here is far and away the best musician you can hear without paying $50 and up for a ticket. Yes, it's a wine bar but if you want your kid to have a good impression of violin-playing, take them to the outdoor patio here when Gabriel the violin player is doing his thing. It goes without saying that the coffee etc are to a high standard also."

"Service seemed to be lacking due to shortage of staff, and when servers waiters did come to the table they were abrupt and not very friendly. The white corn cornbread appetizer was excellent and we would order it again. The bison pot roast was also excellent and the portion size is just right. The side I ordered was the acorn squash au gratin, and it should be removed from the menu. It was almost inedible and after two bites I removed it from my plate. My wife had the white corn crusted walleye, which was OK, to be generous. Small portion of walleye and the corn breading was not great. Her side of fingerling potatoes however was excellent and because of the portion size of the bison pot roast we were able to share. Overall the meal was OK, with a few very good items and a few items that were poorly executed. We will try the restaurant again as the menu seems inventive and the items that were done well, were worth the visit."

"I ordered a Sesami chicken Don for takeaway at 12:15 pm on May 10, and what I received was far from satisfactory. The attached picture speaks volumes: a measly three pieces of chicken adorned a plate that once held a generous portion. This glaring reduction in quantity left me utterly disappointed. It's evident that the quality and portion size have taken a nosedive since my last visit. Sadly, I won't be returning to this establishment again. Save your time and money for a place that values their customers' satisfaction."

"I've been visiting this place since the early 2000s, and it has always offered fantastic baked goods, cakes, and boba. Although I haven't tried their hot meals, I've heard great reviews about them. I've seen some complaints about rising prices, which is understandable given how frustrating it can be. However, the pandemic took a toll on many small businesses, and the recovery process is both stressful and lengthy. I'm really grateful that they managed to survive. If you can afford the prices (which I don't think are excessively high compared to other bakeries in the city), I definitely recommend visiting. I believe they shouldn't be heavily criticized for their pricing."

"The same could be said for the plank. The tapenade was overly salty, and the garlic in the hummus was too intense. If you're a huge fan of garlic, this might suit you, but for me, it was off-putting. Having tasted authentic hummus from Lebanese, Jordanian, and Syrian cuisines, this version was quite different. It had chunks of garlic that affected both the texture and gave an unpleasant astringent taste. The pita triangles were small and not soft, and the red pepper was bland and overly oily. I appreciate the effort Jacob made to ensure I had vegan options when I picked up my order. He even got a server on the phone to discuss which items could be made vegan—mostly salads—though they wouldn’t substitute ingredients, only remove dairy, meat, or eggs. He also attempted to get a sorbet dessert that wasn't officially on the menu, but it wasn't ready yet. While the staff is friendly and the restaurant is popular, it falls short in accommodating vegans. In response to your acknowledgment of the issues in my review, it's good to clarify that you're not a vegetarian or vegan restaurant. This is important information for diners. I only realized the problems after getting home since it was late and raining, making it impractical to call for replacements. It's crucial that you ensure the quality of what you serve, particularly for takeout orders. If a dish isn't prepared properly, it shouldn't be sold. I previously credited Jacob for his efforts, so I'm unsure why that point was repeated. When I inquired about 'veganizing' a dish, the server mentioned they could only remove non-vegan items from salads. It would greatly help your customers if you clearly outlined possible substitutions and labeled your menu better for those with dietary restrictions, whether vegan or otherwise. Currently, there are very few suitable options for vegans."

"The restaurant is getting old and worn looking. Our server was great. The food wasn't all that great. We got half a sandwich that looked like it had been dropped on the floor and stepped on. The chicken rice soup was bland. Not quite the Russ's that I remember."

"My family and I love their food. We have always ordered in large party trays we have trusted them with large birthday parties and we have never being disappointed. Place is clean and they are very organized. We received compliments from our guest at our parties. Amy and her whole family rock! Give this family owned restaurant a try for any event. You will not be disappointed!"

"Dinner was excellent! And so was the service. I walked in at about 10pm after a long day, and Toni was quick to greet me and show me to my table. Tim came in shortly after, took my order, and served my dinner to me within 10-15 minutes. Another gentlemen helped wait on me and make sure my lemon water was always filled lol. And on top of that, they were all friendly and invited me to relax as long as I wanted. It was a great place to relax and enjoy a perfectly cooked meal. As far as the food, I ordered Roasted Brussel Sprouts, a Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad and Jamaican Jerk Chicken. The salad was prepared well with the right amount of dressing, the brussel sprouts soaked up the sauce that tasted amazing with the roasted flavor. It enchanced the almost smokiness of it all and added some rich sweetness. And the Jamaican Jerk Chicken was cooked to perfection, nice char on the outside, but cooked to a tender, soft, and juicy texture, just like it should be. Altogether, a little over $60 for my three disges and it was all well worth it with generous portions! Next time I'm back in Reno, I'll definitely be at Millies24 again!"

"A perfect spot for breakfast. Very chic, elegant, quick and practical. I love there coffee. It’s Sefafredo Zanetti. It is heavier then regular places but I personally sometimes need this level of coffee. I am always addicted to their chicken and tuna salad. With the croissant option. Has a great amount of dessert options. Outdoor and indoor seating available. No pets are allowed. Do not even try they will not. They have limited seating outside. Has a lot of seating indoor. 2024 June 10 Review The food quality has changed significantly. We used to come here but after this visit we will not. They changed the menu and be careful on how you order. Also the manager lady is extremely rude. Also she was racist to my friend also look at the clientele its obvious they have a certain stereotype here. The food is not worth the price anymore."

"Gotta be honest. The setting and platting along with customer service were nice. However the blend fusion Japanese and Thai takes more to master.Papaya salad minus the traditional shrimp but with duck confit, had to look hard for it. Fish sauce overkill and not much else.Karrage chicken was bone in large and fried til bones turned black. The batter is light enough but THAT’S not karrage. Fried chicken pieces.Tiger Cry….made me want to cry. The pink center soft beef lined with scallion on top of fish sauce again.Black widow was alright. The house wasabi is good.Nigiri ? was freshTamarind noodle so sweet and salty .Given price point we expect much better quality and a little bit more than French cuisine platting.Sea Ranch is better choice and a whole lot of food."

"This is the best pizza I've ever had! This restaurant truly knows how to do Italian cuisine right, and you can tell the moment you walk through the door. When you sit down, they serve you complimentary fresh-baked bread with vinegar and oil for dipping, which is absolutely delightful! Every dish I've tried here has been fantastic, but I have to highlight their pizza in particular. The mozzarella is incredibly flavorful, with a wonderfully stretchy, melt-in-your-mouth texture. The sauce has a robust taste, and the thin crust is far from bland. Mama Carpino also features a deli inside, so you can be assured that everything is fresh and delicious! This is definitely my go-to place for great food in a wonderful atmosphere."
