"Disappointing Experience, Consistent Disrespect, and Poor Quality I've given this business multiple chances, but each visit left me more uncomfortable than the last. What stood out most was the drastic difference in how I was treated compared to other customers specifically Hispanic customers. I watched the owner engage them warmly and hold long, cheerful conversations, even after their orders were complete. Meanwhile, I was left standing, often ignored, as if my presence was inconvenient. What made matters worse was when I found a hair in my cake. That was the final straw. Beyond that, the overall quality was poor the icing was hard, the fruit was clearly old, and it was obvious these ingredients had been sitting out far longer than they should have. This isn’t just about a bad dessert it’s about how people are treated. It’s disheartening that in 2025, Black customers still have to tolerate this kind of cold, dismissive service. I’m not expecting fake cheerfulness, but common courtesy shouldn’t be too much to ask. Her demeanor toward me felt reluctant and unpleasant every single time, in stark contrast to the warmth shown to others. This pattern wasn't imagined it was consistent. I initially chose this place for convenience, but I’d rather travel farther for respect and basic human decency. I’m not trying to generalize an entire group, but this isn't the first time I've experienced this type of treatment from someone in the Hispanic community, and it's extremely discouraging. I hope this feedback encourages some reflection. Everyone deserves to be treated with fairness and dignity especially in a business setting. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

"What a gem! I found this place purely by accident, because I was in the area last weekend. I spotted it on Yelp thanks yet again! and it seemed to have great reviews and feedback from a lot of customers, so I decided to give it a try. And I am so glad that I did. I ordered a few different things from this place and I really liked them all, let's go over the items I got one by one: Bolanee Catchalou $10 This dish was amazing. It reminded me a lot of a Chinese scallion pancake, but this Afghan version came with potatoes, leeks and cilantro. It was savory, delicious, and very extremely comforting. The flatbread was soft and warm and not overly greasy, and the potato and leeks filling was perfectly seasoned. And I especially loved how this stuffed flatbread came with different sauces. It came with a yogurt sauce and spicy chili sauce. 10 out of 10. I would order this again. Kobedeh Kabob Beef Plate $12 this was a plate of two long charbroiled ground beef sticks. And the beef was well seasoned with onion and some special seasoning, according to the menu. And it also came with a tall mound of rice. I think this plate was really delicious and filling, and I liked it. Although I think I might have preferred the Chapli Kabob more. Chapli Kabob Plate $12 The look of this plate was very similar to the other kabob plate but the beef on this one was shaped in 2 patties, and they had stronger flavors in my opinion they seemed more seasoned with onion, cilantro and special seasoning. And this dish also felt slightly spicier than the other kabob beef plate. Similarly, it also came with a mound of rice. This dish was extremely comforting, filling, and very delicious. They also served a place of complimentary lettuce and tomato slices. Perfect for the kabob plates. I would not call this place a restaurant, given how small the shop was. But what this shop lacked in space, it made up for in the good quality and delicious tasting foods it served. The service from this place was really nice and friendly as well, so it was another plus. I would certainly go back to this shop to try their other foods."
