"The server we had was aloof and rigid. My friend did not want beans and instead asked for veggies, or even something as simple as some lettuce on the side. He said he would not do that and didn’t offer any other options except double the rice. Not even an up charge option. I also asked for a side of guacamole and the server said “we only offer table side guacamole”. What Mexican restaurant in San Diego doesn’t allow an option for a side of guacamole? I would have paid $2 $6 for a small side. Why is my only option for a little guacamole a $13 table side event? Either a poor choice on the part of management or a poor choice on the part of the server."

"What a terrific find! We were craving pollo asado. So happy Tropicos Breeze popped up in our search and was within our area. Don't let the location comments deter you from trying this gem of a restaurant. It was very colorful and clean. Even the plates were a variety of fun colors. The service was excellent. A very friendly lady greeted us and made us feel very welcome. The server was a very attentive young man who was mature beyond his age. We made an Open Table reservation and did not have a problem. When was the last time you were served piping hot chips? You will get them here! Salsa. guac and pico de gallo (my favorite) were so fresh even at The tomatoes tasted like tomatoes not bland like so many places serve. We ate everything on the plate. The pollo asado was delicious and true to what asado should be. The citrusy marinade was light and full of flavor. It was a pounded thin breast that was soft and delicious. A lightly dressed salad provided a refreshing balance to the plate. Rice was moist, fluffy and unique with some nice herbs and diced veggies. Beans were not heavy with added fat. Did I say fresh at Everything was freshly bought and prepared. You can taste it immediately. I'm sure nothing sits around the kitchen for long. Portions seriously very generous. With the orders, we had enough left over to make burritos for lunches the next day. We made them right at the table and asked for some foil to wrap them. We could have made if we didn't eat so much. You could share the entrees but then you wouldn't have leftovers! I was visiting from the Southwest so I've had plenty of Mexican, Central and South American cuisine. Tropicos Breeze will be on my go to list for every Seattle trip now"

"The food was delicious, I’d go back to eat again, BUT LET ME TELL YOU. I WAS. STUFFED, and now originally I never eat all my food, I even stole half of my mom’s burger. But one thing that bothered me was all the noise. Now I’m a very introverted person, and I’m very shy and if there is too much noise I will quiver in anxiety, but I was mostly talking to my sister and mom. But over all it was Delicious! I just wasn’t a big fan of the noise, (mostly also because I’m pretty sure I have autism) but I get really hyper sensitive about a ton of noise. But I loved watching the horses race on tv."

"the only bad thing was when I showed up and was told that they didn't take any precautions. I was on time and the party before me sat before my party. I wondered why that was because I had a reservation and wait for a table when a walk sat immediately. the host asked about my name and safe enough it was on her tablet, but my reservation was not honored. they should be removed from the business with open table."

"The wings were over cooked but the Asian zing sauce is delicious. I ordered the sampler and it came with bonless wings insrea of traditional as shown. They were also overlooked. Flavor good. They havent learned how to package food for transport so that the food doesnt get cold and soggy. The dries nachos and onion rings were all soggy. Other restaurants have superior packaging. The completely forgot our Mac n cheese. We use door dash on average 2 times a week. This is our first time ordering here. I highly doubt we will order from here again."

"The photos on the web site do not match the reality. It’s a run down, dirty dive bar. If you are looking for a bar with Mexican food this may be your sort of place. If you are looking for a nice restaurant this if definitely not as advertised! From arriving and being handed cutlery I knew this was not going to be a good expert. My entree was delivered when I had only started my appetiser! I ended up not finishing my meal and leaving! I would not recommend this as a Mexican “restaurant “ but more a dive bar that serves Mexican food! No effort from anyone to ask if everything was ok and got charged in full!"

"This location is a hit or miss (mostly a miss). We have ordered here about 10 times in the past 10 months hoping that the next one will be better. For the vast majority of these times, they have gotten our order wrong (e.g., have included fries even after paying extra for onion rings, wrong sauce on the wings or there was a side completely missing). The two times our order was correct it was fresh and we enjoyed it. If you’re doing take out, please check your entire order before leaving the premises."

"The origins of the name of this pub-like lunch and breakfast restaurant are not known to me. I have had Friday lunch here for nearly 6 years on a regular basis. Just before the Covid plague, the previous restaurant closed and my vice opened. It stayed open, unlike many of the nearby restaurants, during the plague, and eventually flourished. The chef — whom I have not met — is an unlikely burley fellow who is one of the most creative cooks I have had the pleasure of sampling his menu. The creativity is remarkable, especially considering the limited menu of a breakfast lunch type of restaurant. The names of his dishes alone are worth the visit. He also succeeds in keeping the costs down, which makes the decision to drop in a much easier one. It has a full bar with excellent, equally creative, cocktails, and very limited, but well-chosen wines. The service is remarkable, and the waitresses greet me by name when I come in. Totally unnecessary, but totally pleasurable. Every dish recommended below I have had at least twice and sometimes as many as five times. The average, huge, main dish is about $15-$17."

"I’m really disappointed to be writing this review. I was excited for my first visit since I had heard wonderful things about their food. Unfortunately, my order was completely wrong. When I tried to return the incorrect item, they charged me for it again. To make matters worse, they took back what they had messed up, leaving me to pay for nothing. On top of that, they tried to charge me $9 for a tiny cup of cheese. If I could give a rating of 0, I definitely would; this experience was just unacceptable."

"I had a little incident with my meal last night. It wasn't anything severe, but considering that this restaurant prides itself on excellent service and high standards, it shouldn't have happened. To summarize, the manager promptly addressed the issue and took appropriate action by covering my family's meals for the evening. We frequent this location often; although we’ve tried other branches, this one is definitely the best. Even during the pandemic, they maintained great service. Nowadays, it’s rare to find a place that opens on time, or even opens at all. I wanted to express my gratitude to the manager, but he was busy handling things, so I’ll make sure to thank him when I return—because we absolutely will be back. Thanks again!"

"This is one of my favorite spots to hang out with my friends. I'm a big fan of the Artisan Spinach flatbread and the Parmesan garlic wings. The service is quite good and the staff is always friendly. The best part, however, is the inviting and energetic atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place. It's conveniently located on Pulaski Highway, although it can get a bit crowded on weekends. We usually go after 8:30 p.m. to avoid the rush."

"My wife and I went to this BWW Sunday after making a reservation on their website. We received confirmation emails and text message reminders for our reservation. When we arrived and told the hostess we had a reservation, she said, We don 't take reservations. When I showed her the confirmation on my phone, she said that I should not have been able to make a reservation and no tables would be available FOR 2 HOURS. She didn 't pretend to care about the inconvenience. My wife suggested we get a takeout order, but we both felt that the restaurant should do something, even if only a symbolic gesture, to compensate for the service failure. We drove 40 minutes for a reservation that they confirmed but would not honor. The cashier took our order, but before we paid he went to the manager to see what could be done. I stepped outside and my wife spoke with the manager (Carlos R. and he said nothing could be done. When I heard that, I went inside asked to speak with the manager. Before he returned, the cashier brought our takeout order to us. Carlos R. showed up and told us nothing could be done because it was a third party 's mistake. That defies logic! The third party is OpenTable which BWW hired to do exactly what they did: Make a reservation. I told him that I worked in restaurants for years and that you always try to satisfy the customer in the case of service failures. At least do SOMETHING, ANYTHING, to show that you are sorry for the failure and that you appreciate their business. He said he would do NOTHING. I showed him that our takeout order was complete and asked him if he would rather throw the order away than satisfy his customer. He said if you don 't want the food at full price, I 'll throw it away. He was happy to throw away the food and two customers. Why not discount the food slightly and keep two customers? He is neither a champion of logic or customer service. I wrote the corporate office the same day. No response. TERRIBLE SERVICE!"

"I went on Thursday, where there were 75 cent boneless wings! the food was delicious and it also happened during the happy hour that ended at 18:00. 10 wings and a margarita for about $11 dollars during a NBA game. service was good was not too busy, but still a good environment they were organized with my reservation and wish accepted."

"I’ve had an AMAZING time whenever I come to this restaurant, it never misses. Because of that I am making my first google review. I have celiac disease so I have to follow a gluten free diet, and the kitchen and environment is completely free ofgluten which makes me extremely comfortable. but now for the food. The Taco Tinga might just be the best thing I have evertasted. I had an epiphany when I took the first bite. It was a perfect balance of flavors. I HIGHLY suggest. The tortilla chipsalong with the guacamole and salsa were some of the best. But everything on the menu is great, that’s why I gave it 5 starsalong with the amazing service and quick arrival of the food. (in the picture there is the costillitas, which were amazing, aside of rice, a side of beans, and of course, the Tinga Tacos) DELICIOUS!"

"This place was awesome back in the day, now not so much. I should have just left. Why you ask, well you walk in and the hostess is having a conversation with another employee and then they say oh dine in sit wherever you want. ? ok cool beans walk in and there is water draining from the ceiling into buckets on the table with towels in it. Should have just sat at the bar, it was the cleanest place in there and the bartender he was awesome. Our server,she did not bring water or ask if we wanted water, we had to ask for napkins and plates, she didn't bring silverware or plastic ware. The really tall bartender brought us most of the things we needed it was really sad. Three minutes after the food came out she came back by asked if we needed anything we said no not right now so then she brought us our check. I guess that was our que we should leave so we asked for to-go boxes and left."

Unfortunately, the chips seemed to be store-bought, which detracted from the overall flavor experience. Homemade chips would have significantly elevated the dish. "Food was wrong, service was horrible! When we tried to voice our concerns the manager was extremely rude and offered no apology let alone some sort of compensation. I mean they literally brought us COLD WING!! My boneless wings were as hard as rocks, they put the wrong sauce on my sons wings, my sister asked for hers to fried hard, after stating that this was the reason our food took almost 45 mins to get when she got them they were warm and rubbery... I would never recommend this location and I will not be returning! I will make the extra drive for better food and service."

"The Fold is one of our favorite places because it’s always reliably good. Their habanero cheese dip is the best, and adding bison makes it even better. The steak burrito is our favorite thing on the menu, but seriously everything is tasty. I always like to try their rotating frozen cocktail, and you can’t go wrong with any of their margaritas. The staff are so friendly and accommodating too! It’s a weekly staple for a reason!"
