"The restaurant had a nice ambiance, and the food was delicious. However, we arrived at 6 PM and received our menus, but no one came back with water until we asked for it half an hour later. Our waiter mentioned that they were short-staffed due to a festival happening in Old San Juan. Given that there were only 10 to 12 tables in the restaurant, it seems they should be able to manage service better for the size of their establishment. Once we expressed our dissatisfaction, we finally received better service. Our food arrived well after we ordered—about 50 minutes after we had been seated. To top it off, at the end of the meal, my partner ordered a cappuccino that was never brought to the table. The waiter did offer to make amends by offering us some desserts or a glass of champagne, which we weren't interested in. I thought that if he truly wanted to make things right, he would have offered to take the price off our only dessert. We were there to celebrate my partner's 70th birthday and were disappointed with the poor service in what seemed to be a very upscale restaurant."
