"My wife suggested this place due to reviews she'd read, but I was doubtful. It is attached to a hotel...a nice one mind you. Nevertheless, the decor was funky modern with nice ambient and what I would call a quirky layout. Some tables for two, some for four...and these neat banquettes which could be for eating or lounging. A multipurpose spot that really seems to work. The food, however, was the star! I had scallops with a. Apple glaze for an appetizer while my wife had the shrimp salad with a citrus dressing. Both were spectacular. Original, yet simple flavours done well. Out mains were amazing as well. I had a basmati seafood risotto that was like nothing I'd ever tasted (though the lobster tail was over cooked). My wife had the salmon which had a spice rub on a Israeli couscous and a salsa of sort around it, very good! Wine list was brief, but very good with reasonable prices for a bottle. The service was professional and courteous. Which was a welcome surprise considering how young the hostesses servers seemed. The only complaint was that it was a bit loud. But, it also doubles as the hotel bar. So I can't knock the place for the wisdom of a restaurant pulling double duty. Definitely worth a visit."
