"Everyone on the South Shore is familiar with the Shipyard and Hingham Square restaurants, and with good reason. However, we were thrilled to finally visit the Quarry Restaurant in South Hingham after quite some time to see how it has been doing under its new ownership. From the warm welcome at the entrance to the dining room, our evening turned out to be a wonderful experience for our group of six on a recent Saturday night. The menu offered a wide array of options, and each of us was thoroughly pleased with our choices. The Osso Buco and whole grilled snapper stood out as particularly tasty dishes. Our server was well-informed about the menu, including how each dish was prepared and the ingredients used, and he also made sure to mention that portions could be ordered in different sizes. He struck the perfect balance of being informative without being intrusive. Although the restaurant was busy that night, it wasn't excessively noisy. We can't wait to return soon!"

"Wonderful place to eat. After eating here I couldn’t believe I didn’t find this gem before, I now know I resonated at the same frequency when I found it. Sushi is very fresh. I got Threekings and Ginger Saba maki and they were both amazing rolls. Service was great from both waitress and chef. Had a nice talk with chef Get. It’s a very cozy environment and Japanese feel here. Sushi is art and I am really grateful chef made such tasty and beautiful dishes for me. I say the best experiences eating sushi is always at the bar. Have to come back for their Ramen, it sounds really good. To the owner and the people who work here, You got me at Green tea! Arigatō"

"The food was disgusting, we returned 6 out of 7 appetizers that were served to us. The poor quality meat is poorly cooked and has a bad taste. They calculated every last cent of the bill. Shame should give them the lousy customer service and the lousy quality of the food with the years they have on the market !!!!! I will never return and I would not recommend it to my worst enemy. Expensive and lousy in every way"

"While on vacation visiting Houston, we wanted some seafood but didn't want anything fried. When searching online for restaurants, we chose Pappas Seafood House, and I'm so glad we did. I made a reservation online, so we were seated immediately when we arrived. The server was nice and accommodating when we asked to be moved from our original table due to it being cold because there was an air vent blowing directly over us. The food came out quickly, and the portion was huge. My husband and I both ordered the Rainbow trout, with shrimp crabmeat and a lemon butter sauce. I had green beans while he had sautéed spinach. The food was so delicious as it was cooked just right, seasoned well and nice and hot (temperature wise). The portions were huge. A basket of bread with butter was served before the meal, which was good as well. I highly recommend Pappas Seafood House! Wish I could have given them more stars because the price was affordable and the food was so delicious."

"What is there not to like about Pappadeaux's. Excellent seafood, great cocktails, enjoyable and knowledgeable service. You are greeted and felt welcome from the moment you walk through the front entrance. Plenty of seating for any size party, plenty of space, great atmosphere. The waiter I had was knowledgeable on items on the menu and told me about special items that weren't on the menu. He periodically checked on without interference and was very professional. I felt good tipping him generously afterward. An overall excellent experience. I will definitely be going back again. Dietary restrictions: Although it's a seafood restaurant, there are a couple of great choices for those who have dietary restrictions. There are also great rice and vegetable sides that one can choose from"

"My friend and I both ordered the scallops and pasta. $32 each. Came with 4 scallops which were good but the pasta was overcooked and had no flavor. Neither of us ate the angel hair. It was just too mushy so we paid $8 a scallop. Not sure why people like this restaurant. For the money it's not good at all. Lots of much better places around. Won't go again. Second time and the food was vey disappointing both times. Food: 2"
