"My son tried the Tuesday special, which was the trout almondine. It was a bit unusual since most restaurants tend to grill trout, but this was a generous portion of trout topped with lively almonds. I wasn't sure if there was a sauce or not, but it looked really appetizing. I overheard a regular customer telling her aunt that she would have gone with grilled or blackened trout if she had wanted something different.
Since it was our first time there, we weren’t sure what to expect, but we definitely know now! I was initially taken aback by the prices, but after tallying it all up—considering we ordered an appetizer of mozzarella sticks and some of their Braland potatoes—I realized their prices are as excellent as the food! They also have daily specials (Tuesday features trout almondine, and there are also meatloaf and potatoes, plus something else I can’t remember) that are reasonably priced, with portions big enough to satisfy even the heartiest of appetites.
