"Our birthday celebration was such fun! Food was excellent, service attentive and very pleasant. Ambience was beautiful! Not crowded early and we really appreciated being able to talk amongst ourselves and hear !!! Ha! Not so at many places. Not sure what the restaurant is like later on. But we all picked excellent dishes, mine was the hamburger which was possibly the best I’ve had!!! French fries also fantastic. Desserts wonderful, order the gooseberry tart! And the onion rings to die for!!!"

"great service and ambiente! welcoming east end inhabited to try this new place. I think about the parking lot, but square offers valet parking. please ask them about the mescal cocktail, it's really good. also my group was happy to visit the chef our table and offered to a delicate sampler board with tapas size elements that grill to perfection lachs, glazed brüssel sprouts, ceviche, shredded pork mini taco, kartoffeln. the aromas were amazing and the amount great to share with cocktails among friends. I'm going back from one of those whores. music is beaten up after 10 o'clock so that for me happy hour and early evening dinner will work best. I think this place is business networking, business meetings and other events in the eye. they rent places. in any case recommend!"

"Our reason for dining here was our son was celebrating his 16th birthday and had read about this neat little restaurant in the short north. We were greeted with kindness and hospitality by the staff and somewhat wowed by the classic yet modern vibe from the decor to the architectural lines. The food was out of this world, (which at $14+ per person for the lunch menu, one would hope it would be) it certainly lived up to the word on the street. I had the pork belly sandwiches on Asian steam buns. Between the bacon like crispiness of the pork belly and the mild tang of the slaw and sauce oh and not to mention the delicately delightful steam buns, my mouth was quite delighted. I also had the chicken dinner raman bowl that had all the right flavors to round off my meal. My wife and the birthday boy had the Ahi Tuna rice bowl which was amazing as well (I stole some from them) the rest of our families meals were just as tasty as ours however I was too stuffed to try anymore. All in all our family of 8 was around $150.00 before the gratuity (we got starters as well which made things a little higher). I would love to go back but maybe next time just my wife and I."

"The burgers were fantastic, as always. Our waitress was very friendly and recommended we try the crispy broccoli. OMG, it was incredible—my son, who usually doesn't eat vegetables, loved it! The only reason I didn't give a full five stars is that they were out of their steak skewers, which was the main reason we went there for my birthday. But overall, the meal was excellent."
