"Last week, I ordered lunch since I work close by. I ordered the General Tso's cauliflower. I have mixed feelings....Firstly, I am unclear as to why [this long into CV], restaurants still package food in a way that compromises quality. Anyone who enjoys fried foods understands the texture of the surface area matters and these nuggets were smooth, akin to fried chicken fingers you order at a Chinese place. So we are starting with zero crunch and minimal crispness. To complement this, it was submerged in sauce that looked like it was forgotten and then thrown on when they saw me. In terms of taste, the sauce has no spice I could detect [I admit I enjoy a healthy dose of spice] and was so sweet, I remembered to schedule my annual. If you have glucose concerns, beware. I could only stomach 3 pieces for lunch. I removed the pieces from the sauce immediately to take home and I will say these re-heated fairly well in the toaster oven-DO NOT microwave these unless you enjoy soggy vegetables. I would suggest ordering with sauce on the side, even if you are having it fresh at the restaurant. With less sauce, these were actually decent. I will order again with the modifications. Some foods just do not travel well and I always appreciate the restaurants that choose to offer a restricted delivery menu to secure quality. I know most people would probably be upset but is it not more upsetting to pay service/delivery/tip charges for less than par orders? The surprise of my order was a complimentary treat...I initially thought it was a breadstick. IT WAS A RICE KRISPY TREAT!!! I guess this comes with an order as I did not choose it and it was really a lovely &unexpected addition."
