"Was surprised to find there was a brief wait for lunch at 1pm on a Thursday but once we were seated, I quickly realized why. The food was so good! Easily the best brussel sprouts I've ever had, and I don't even like brussel sprouts! The surf and turf burger was amazing! Excellent service, laid back (despite being busy) atmosphere. Feels like the quintessential hole-in-the-wall gem. Will definitely go back. Looking forward to trying other meals as well (I've heard they're known for their breakfast. Can't wait to find out)."

"We dined at the Monroeville location which we frequently do, usually sitting at the bar. Tonight was very busy and we had a very new server. She was clearly overwhelmed but she kept on going, she apologized numerous times about our waiting for drinks/ food. I could sense her stress and frustration, but she was still awesome. I told her to just breathe because I could see she was at a breaking point, especially after a tables food was not cooked properly. I witnessed her handle it professionally. I felt the need to post a review and hope that next time we come in Ashlea is still there giving it her best shot!!!"

"Memorial Weekend has done no justice for this pricey hectic and disorganized restaurant. Although the sushi was very good … the pizza was school lunch room quality at best and the fish and chips were burnt beyond appropriate and therefore not worththe price of the meal. Our server was good and completely overwhelmed forgetting salt and pepper after countless requests andtartar sauce for the fish and chips … simply not worth the money… sad!! Bright side they have all summer to pull ittogether … bottom line be prepared for the rush don’t over charge for less then stellar food and pull your act togetherso that we can enjoy the experience."

"Great space with a great nighttime ambiance! No wait for a table on a Sunday night, which I appreciated. Plenty of outdoor seating, although that may have had a wait. All of the staff was very pleasant and brought out our drinks and food quickly. The cheesy garlic bread was AMAZING. It does look a bit like a pizza bread from your local pizza joint, but 15x better. Favorite thing from my time there. The teriyaki skirt steak was good and had a bit more umami than k expected. The potatoes were great as well and we swapped green beans for broccoli, which was cooked nicely. The Town [sushi] Roll was decent. Had way more sauce than I expected and I would ask for less in the future, as it drowned out most of the taste from the roll. It came with a small side of seaweed salad which I appreciated. It was nice and filling for the amount provided and everything in it tasted fresh. Money wise, for an appetizer, two entrees and two alcoholic drinks, our total came out to right around $100 which isn’t terrible for the area and restaurant quality."

"I was looking forward to a nice, Saturday, dinner out with my guy. We dressed for the evening and drove from Kent. Our server was friendly, but the overall experience was really underwhelming. The menu had an Asian flare (not Mediterranean as the website indicates , drinks were not mixed well, the decor is very basic, and the food was just not good (overly sweet sauces, overcooked fish, etc. I enjoy a good meal and don't mind paying for it. District just doesn't execute well, so it's best to go elsewhere."

"To start things off, the breakfast burritos are good. The reason I’m writing a negative review is because of the cashier. There’s two of them but the younger taller well-rounded girl is quite rude. I usually go in there for breakfast burritos. I’ve been attended by her 3 times and each time I’ve gone to pick up my order she basically throws it on the counter I can hear it hit the counter. Its a heavy burrito. It’s almost as if she’s throwing me food like a dog. She either needs training on how to handle food and customers or she needs to be replaced. The other cashier that works there doesn’t do that to my food. I’m about to eat this food that I purchased from your amazing restaurant, It’s a pet peeve when I see people treating my food that way. Why do I want to keep coming back and being treated the same way. Even though the food outweighs the service I don’t like being treated that way and I know one person not going to the restaurant is not going to make a difference but hopefully this review will be brought to the owners attention how she’s treating her customers or possibly just me I have no idea. As much as I want to keep spending my hard earned money on their delicious food, today’s the last burrito I’ve ever buy from them thanks to her unprofessionalism."

"I wouldn't recommend this restaurant at all. They call it Nepalese, but it's just a fancy name for Indian food that I love. There are many excellent Indian restaurants here, but this is not one of them. Firstly, there were no other customers when we got there. Two parties came in after us and we are looked after before us. We expressly told the waitress everything mild. When we ordered a birayani she forgot to tell us until we complained that it is always spicy. We started with an inedible lentil soup. It was cold and salty. We asked for hot tea and she said they had gone out that afternoon. Our chicken tikka was all sauce and very little chicken. We sent it back and told them to add more chicken. The shrimp dish was the same - all sauce and hardly any shrimp. The sauces over the rice were pleasant, but overpriced for how little you got. We enjoyed the starter of Mo MO and the Chana Masala. I love Mango Lassi, but they just poured it out of a 1 gallon container. It was probably pre-made in the supermarket. Don't go here when we have such a large and diverse Indian community with excellent restaurants across the region."

I have been to their Winthrop location great friendly service and food, what can I say thanks for having a location in here in Lawrence. There is no other place to go to bit Nicks Place their menue covers it all and everything is fresh and has very reasonable price$. I will not be going anywhere else! "I stopped by around 10am, on a Friday morning. It's definitely a busy business, their food is pretty tasty. The burritos are thick, and prices are reasonable. My friend ordered a veggie skillet plate, and a side of French toast, with drinks it came out to about $50.00 for a party of two. The one thing I didn't like was that customer service wasn't very personable. The waitresses that stopped by didn't introduce themselves. One asked about what drinks we wanted, the other took our order. I ignored it figured the receipt would include their name, but it only says Cashier 1. Either way it's worth a visit."

"My wife and I wanted a nice laid-back place to sit outside and enjoy a fun dinner. We ended up being very disappointed by the service. Our server took about 10-15 minutes to get to the table (which feels like an eternity when you are waiting to order beverages). They took our drink order and quickly returned with a cocktail and waters but the beer we ordered was delayed by a few minutes. Not a big deal, but then the night went south. We didn't see our server again for a very long time. We started to feel like our appetizer was a little delayed when food runners showed up with our entrees. No app in sight. We let them know and eventually the server brought our app. But we were halfway into the meal by that point. The food tasted fine. Nothing extraordinary but not bad. The nachos, I admit, were delicious. The mac and cheese we ordered was described to have bread crumbs but was missing that. Fortunately the server had it taken care of pretty quickly. We were never asked about having our drinks refilled. And after eating, we waited a long time for our check. It just seemed to take forever for everything. None of the problems by themselves would have been a big deal, but together it added up to a somewhat unpleasant experience. The server was nice and apologetic. They also comped us the appetizer which was nice. May have been an off night or maybe a new server, but I can't say I would recommend going on a Saturday night. Also, we did enjoy the outdoor seating area. It was a little tight, but the ambiance was nice."

"I've been to the Malden location and Central Square location. I liked the cozy diner vibe in Malden. We had a very nice server who touched my arm and called me hun. First discovered it during the pandemic and was super excited for their vegan donuts. I think the apple cider is my favorite, but don't hold me to that. I've come to adore the hungry vegan which has pancakes, tofu scramble (heavy on the onion fine by me , sausage or bacon, hash browns and toast (although I skip the toast. It's so freaking delicious and you won't be able to eat until dinner. Also good for your non vegan friends/family. You're welcome."

We were just patiently waiting and no one could be bothered.What appeared to be the manager saw us sitting there still after all that time with an empty table. He made eye contact, yet didn't bother to check on us. Waitress took my order and disappeared. She had to ask me how to make a Shirley temple nonetheless?As a server and bartender myself, y'all need to work on your service. I would have tipped well for basic service, even for just two drinks. That all said, I won't be returning. I'll take my business elsewhere. No wonder y'all always have a hiring sign out front."

"this place was like a visit in the wild west. there were customers in cowboy hats, and all kinds of memories from the old west on the wlls. weapons, speere, photos, munition, branding ices. the service was quick and helpful. eating was a lot and quite high on calorie. I had frozen that huh. it was good. inserts and vultures and hatebrowns were good. the gravy lacks taste I will have another court next time, probably an omelette... would I come back? yes : ps is best to visit outside the hurry hours ... avoid waiting in the line"
