"First time back since they reopened, so we had our regular dishes to see if anything changed. Nothing had changed, it was just as good as the first time we were here. I had the the Pho with with beef #99. Regular size bowl with brisket, meatball and tendon. The broth was excellent and very deep in flavor. A hefty portion of rice noodles on the bottom. The fresh veggies(basil, mung beans shoots, jalapeños and lime) tied everything together. My go to dish. The wife had the vermicelli combination with an egg roll, char sui pork, chicken and a fish sauce dipping sauce on the side. The wife gave it two thumbs up. We also had an order off egg rolls that were well cooked and a good way to start the meal. Only draw back was the wife ordered a Thai ice tea and it had boba balls in the bottom and she prefers her ice tea more traditional. We will put Tu-do back on the go to list."

"First time: Last night, I wanted Pho and the restaurant we regularly went to before COVID is no longer in business so we went looking for a Pho Restaurant last night and am so glad we found Pho Vina. We did take out and my girlfriend picked it up and brought it home so I cannot comment on the service or the atmosphere, I 'll write a future review on those items when I experience the service and atmosphere on a return visit. I had the special combination noodle soup. The way they packaged it for take out was excellent. The flavor and my enjoyment of the Pho was just as excellent. My girlfriend had Teriyaki Chicken and said it was excellent. We also had an order of Fried Rice. The flavor of the friend rice was great and I have no complaints but it is not the great fried rice I am used to getting in other restaurants. There was ample vegitables and chicken in the friend rice, it just did not seem to be very fried . I am very impressed with the menu selection and the fact that they have an extensive vegetarian menu with vegan options is impressive. We will become regular customers of Pho Vina if future experiences match our first experience."

"Open nearly 24 hours and also at a fair price for dinner and weekend special. My boy and I love to eat here. Authentic Thai food and nice service. They occasionally give homeless guys water and some help, which shows their kind heart. We are always happy eating here. The parking is kinda strange. This plaza is the only palace with “valet parking” that you actually don’t need any one to park for you. But you just have to pay the parking. We usually park on the street that is cheaper and no difference in terms of walking distance for me. To be honest, I don’t like to be forced to pay parking. Food is really nice, both at Thai and Chinese food. They are apparently Thailanders, I don’t understand why they have Chinese food. However, their Chinese is also good."

"Looks a little shabby on the outside but don't be fooled. The interior is well kept and very clean. Classical music was playing throughout the restaurant which made it feel very classy. The parking lot is always packed for the dinner rush so I thought I would give it a try. Service was perfect. My glass was never empty, appetizers came out first, shortly after the main meal was delivered. The pho was amazing-bold flavors and hearty meats. General Tzo Chicken was crispy and flavorful. The wait during dinner rush was about 30 minutes. For two the bill was reasonable. Definitely recommend. New favorite."

"The first time I ate here a couple of months ago it was BYOB, but they must have been waiting for their liquor license since it 's not anymore (so I 'm glad I called and asked), but the happy hour drink specials were good at $4 for beers and $6 for wine, and the beer selection was decent for a relatively small one. The food came very quickly and we were all happy with what we got; they must have the sauces ready to go since you choose the dish and also choose the meat. I got the Massaman Curry, and had asked how spicy it was since it had the spicy symbol, and the waitress said not too spicy, and it was great for my moderate-spice tastes. The restaurant is cozy and very cute and has a nice atmosphere. I 'll definitely be happy to go back when I 'm looking for a place for dinner again in the area."

"I decided to try a different Vietnamese restaurant this time, and chose one based in Redwood City due to its high ratings. Unfortunately, my experience was quite mediocre. We ordered Pho #B16 and Wonton noodles, both of which were just average and didn’t stand out compared to other Vietnamese restaurants I've visited. The wonton noodle soup didn’t taste authentic at all. On a positive note, their organic soymilk was quite good. The dining area was spacious and had a cozy decor, which I appreciated."

"Used to go to KANH frequently for lunch when I worked in the area. I had not been in many years and decided to try it again. I was surprised how good it is. "Came to Mein as wanted some Cantonese Chinese food while visiting Houston. Stopped by on an early Saturday evening and luckily it was only about 50% full around 6:00p. Service was extremely fast and efficient from the time walked in the door, during the meal, and as they cleaned each table. Everything looked so good on the menu, but settled on the Red Oil Dumplings for an appetizer, followed by the HK Wonton Noodle Soup, and the Crispy Egg Noodle. Appetizer came out within 5 minutes and the meals within 10 minutes. Although the food came out right away, there was no doubt this was freshly made to order. I can't even begin to pick which of the dishes were my favorite as all were amazingly good. All were equally as good, fresh, flavorful, and authentic. I only wish I had a larger party so I could try more dishes. This is definitely on my list when I return back to Houston. It was also a favorite to many others as by the time I left around 7:00p, there were about 20 people waiting outside."

"Though I wasn't extremely hungry, I decided to order the fresh summer rolls with shrimp, a small tom yum soup with shrimp, and I shared the mango sticky rice with my friend. The summer rolls were delicious! Usually, I'm not a fan of the peanut sauce that accompanies them, but this one was excellent! The soup had the ideal level of spiciness and was packed with vegetables. Even though we were both quite full, I knew I had to try the mango sticky rice. The mango was exquisite; I really wish I had ordered my own portion. The rice was wonderfully cooked and creamy—it was some of the best mango sticky rice I’ve ever tasted. I regret not visiting this place sooner, but I’m so glad I got to experience it before heading home. Everything was fantastic, and if I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely return!"

"All the menu items are marked as vegetarian, but when you ask which are vegan, the owner interrupts to repeatedly list them off. I've had multiple experiences where I asked if certain dishes contained ice or fish sauce, and I was assured they didn't—only to find those ingredients in my meal. Clearly, there’s a lack of understanding when it comes to vegan options, and it doesn't seem like they take the effort to ensure that vegan orders are properly prepared. It also seems likely that the meat they use includes milk. While I was paying the bill amid the chaos, I noticed some crumpled papers with names of restaurants that appear to have participated in reality shows about saving struggling eateries. That’s definitely not a good sign."

"50 cents per tiny container of hot sauce Thipi Thai in LaGrange is the only restaurant I know of that even charges for hot sauce for the food I order. Worse, the amount per small container is certainly not 50 cents worth. So, when I place an order to go for my family via GrubHub or otherwise online, I make sure I bring cash to pay $3.00 $4.00 for 6 8 small portions of hot sauce. It seems that most places, if not all other than Thipi Thai in LaGrange, consider the hot sauce as they do if you were to order to eat in the restaurant. I cannot think of any justification for charging $3.00 $4.00 for about 30 cents worth of hot sauce. Just not good business/customer impression."

"The food at this establishment is delicious. I can't remember ever having a dish that was bad. A modern and art deco setting offers an extensive menu of Cantonese cuisine. The Drunken Noodles, all prawn dishes, shaking chicken, cucumber smash, red oil dumplings, shaken beef, mopo tofu, and squid ink Freud rice are good and have an earthy flavor. The establishment in Chinatown will not disappoint you. All the restaurants, coffee shops, and other establishments in this shopping strip are owned by the same person. Parking at night can be challenging and you may have to park on the street. Extra security for your vehicles is provided by security patrols in the evenings. The service is excellent and quick. "The one positive thing I can say about this restaurant is that I really love their lemongrass noodle salad, but I will no longer be a regular at this establishment. For the second time, I was given another person's take out order. As a result, the restaurant gave me a PARTIAL refund. Their reason for not giving a full refund was that I had ordered spring rolls and there were pork rolls in the order they gave me. I am vegetarian. Last night I arrived home after a 20 minute drive with no dinner and only a partial refund. I have worked in the restaurant industry in the past (for ten years!) and I have never seen such poor customer service. In my experience, any restaurant that gives you the wrong food should not only give a refund, but offer something more to keep you as a customer."
