"When we walked in, a sign instructed us to wait to be seated, which puzzled me since there was no one at the front desk. We eventually made our way to the innkeeper at the back, who told us to seat ourselves in the common room. Taking their advice, we sat down but noticed two other patrons who also appeared to be food-less. At that moment, I couldn’t help but wonder if we’d missed some kind of announcement about the establishment closing early or if the place had been raided by goblins. No one likes goblins, by the way. Sorry to any goblins reading this—just know that your frequent raids on chickens and crops don’t exactly win you any favors with the townsfolk. Feeling adventurous, I decided to check out the tavern next to the common room since I could see a bartender working and four patrons enjoying some drinks. I was filled with hope! While they didn't serve food, I was eager to ask for directions to the person presumably hiding away food behind a secret door, or perhaps the owner of a hidden bag of holding. At this point, I was open to any food storage mystery. As I sat there, I listened to the bartender chat with her customers. It was heartwarming to see how well they were treated, to the point where the bartender even offered to buy drinks if the night took a turn for the worse. However, I started feeling overlooked and a little ignored. After a while, I decided to speak up just to make sure I was still physically present and hadn’t accidentally shifted into some astral plane, as some people can’t seem to detect those unexpected journeys. When I finally spoke up, the bartender hurried out of the tavern to chat with the innkeeper. It became abundantly clear that we had either forgotten the secret code or the spell required to summon food. Defeated, we decided it was best to leave and seek food elsewhere—specifically, we opted for Blaze, where we could indulge in some delicious, cheesy bread rounds. "This was the worst experience in my life. Never have i felt more judged and singled out. i was laughed at for my drink order by one bartender. Then when someone came to deliver my gnocchi i said thank you sir to the individual Trying to be polite. Like a normal reflex. Nothing more. But Then the other bartender under her breath said thats a person not a sir. I am not out spending money at a fancy restaurant not to be demeaned or judged for something so polite but misconstrued so wrong by closed minded people. how am i supposed to know when I've never been here before. So many better ways to handle that education. But was that given no. Just more judgement and rudeness. Shows the content of character there. Second. I ve never had a more rude mentally damaging experience ever. Third im out to spend money and have a good time yet i get judged and treated poorly at a fine dining restaurant? I was not rude or anything. Just wanted a good meal and some good drinks. Also was polite the entire time. As i was leaving i used the proper pronouns after knowing the situation. However to be put in such a horrible position by service team that i am spending good money on is ridiculous. If you want to feel judged and hurt then this is the place. Otherwise spend your money elsewhere. Ive never seen this sort of judgmental behavior before in a Fine dinning establishment. I never will come here again. The very sad part is The owner is nice. Like really nice. Too bad the bartenders are not. The food is quite good but can never make up for this fascist judgmental people that work here. In sorry to the owner. He was very kind and sweet."
