"The Saltwater Grill has been a Galveston staple for some time. I was encouraged that the menu has been updated with new items, while preserving some of their best offerings - I swear the Shanghai Delight is laced with Prozac because I'm always happy when I eat it. This time I tried one of their new "naked" offerings, hoping the fish would be allowed to shine. I had the grilled redfish, which was done perfectly - the very thin edges were a little crisp and carmelized but the fish was still moist and flavorful. I did miss the bread - this was one of the few restaurants in town that started with something with substance, so I was quite disappointed when a little crock of crackers appeared instead of bread. The restaurant is very noisy - I was ok hearing my companions but certainly couldn't hear the server well."

"Family favorite when in the Big Apple. No waiting this Thanksgiving morn for breakfast. Enjoyed the Wild Mushroom 3 Egg Omelette and BDNYC Breakfast Special. Eggs cooked perfectly. My omelette was light on mushrooms and heavy on spinach. Prepared more like a crepe with the egg wrapped and stuffed with mushrooms spinach and topped with pesto. Hash browns crispy outside but mushy on inside . Biscuits have delicious sweet buttery flavor and are very dense filling . Had to try the 'classic ' chocolate shake, which was more like weak chocolate milk. If it was prepared with ice cream, it had been whipped to the point of melting by the time it arrived. Liked that it came in a mason jar. If you love dogs, the ambiance makes up for the okay food."

"We were shocked when we read the bad reviews. I have no idea what these people are talking about We've eaten here four times and every meal has been fantastic! The service was relaxed. We were able to enjoy our meal without being rushed. We had time to talk between servings. It was great. The menu is unique. The food is of the highest quality. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable. My wife is an excellent chef and a food snob. We've eaten in everything from dives to five star restaurants all over the country. We consider this one of the finest places we've ever eaten. We're lucky to have it in Columbus. If you are looking to get in an get out this isn't the right restaurant for you. If that is what you want to go to Max and Erma's. Give this a try and have an open mind."

"We had to wait a bit for our table but not too long. We had 3 different people tell us they were going to help us. That came off a little like they weren't organized at first. But I think they were just making sure people were being taken care of. Which ended up being better because our main waitress kept forgetting things. That was a lil frustrating. Food was good. But so expensive! Overall it was a good experience. I'm glad they're open, that they're an option. Especially during these crazy times."

"The experience here was less than satisfying. The waitress made sure to rattle off all of the prices for everything that she described. It was only noticeable because she didn't do it at any other table she served near us. Since we were the only people of color in the restaurant, I can only assume it was an issue for her. I then had another server adjust an A/C unit above me without say pardon me or excuse me. The unit then began to drip on my wife and I. We requested to be moved and were eventually. This was our 24th wedding anniversary and dinner was a bust."

"Came to the Bungalow after disappointing service at a local place and so glad we did. Our waitress, Claire, was the sweetest ever and provided a welcome smile after a long day. French onion soup! Why get this anywhere else? It’s the perfect broth loaded with expertly caramelized onions and accompanied with so much delicious melted cheese it’s practically a meal in itself. And at just a $3 upgrade to a salad, a super great deal. Half the reason I love The Bungalow is their homemade salad dressings. Their blue cheese is without par. The smokey back ribs and perfect au gratin potatoes were tops. Their club sandwich was amazing. I love this place for everything they do and so appreciate the great food and cheery service. Why fight Stillwater traffic, crowds and parking when The Bungalow has it all?"

"If I could give no stars I would ! This was by far the worst experience eating at a restaurant. After being out in the heat Saturday July 20, we headed over to Perkins to have a family dinner with my husband two kids and mom. First off it wasn?t busy at all from what we could see and only 9 booths were being served at the time we came In we were the 10 in the section. So I was like oh this nice it?s not full at all our food won?t take that long. My eldest son being four is very patient to an extent and my youngest being a year old has well if you have kids you know. I?m not exaggerating when I say we had our drink order taken 30 min after we sat down 30! And it took another 15 to get them out to us. And after we finally ordered our server lost our slip and had to comeback and ask us what we ordered again. This no way being waitress?s fault btw but management our waitress was swamped alone in her section with 12 tables all full. And there was 3 extra people on the floor including who I be was the manager just walking back and forth not doing a single thing at all. At one point another waitress came to clear a table next to us and didn?t wipe it down just took dishes that?s it and it was still dirty when we left again no more than 10 -12 tables full during the 2 hrs we were there. The manager kept putting everyone that came in, in one area and expecting the one waitress that was actually doing work to manage them all. When our food came out it was a mess and I wish I would?ve taken more pictures but my kids being kids started digging in cause it had been A whole hr and like 15 minutes to get our food. My husband ordered the French dip and the sauce was literally dried spit in the bottom of a cup and my sons Mac and cheese was burnt and the pancakes we ordered were in no way shaped like a bear but a blob the lettuce in the salad was wet and dripping water which I had to tilt and empty out on a napkin I cannot recommend this restaurant at all, the lack of care from the manager and the kitchen staff as well as whoever was there was not okay and the only one trying was our waitress. And ended up paying for the Burt Mac and cheese the what looked like spit mystery dipping sauce and a wet salad. By far the worst oh and if you were wondering were the manager was when we got our check and went up to pay along with 3 other people as we waited for him he was in the back don?t know what he was doing but for a restaurant of the capacity they have to be that understaffed at that time was not okay but like I said saw at least 2 other waitresses other that our own there and the manager and no more that 12 tables being served with parties of two. We were the biggest group there with 5 people it was so bad how do you serve burnt Mack and cheese to a kid and what made it okay to serve any of the other items on our order. Not good not good at all"

"This restaurant is ideal for a group of 2 or 3 people. Larger groups may have a diminished experience. The happy hour offers a 50% discount, although the food is not very impressive. During happy hour, there is an automatic gratuity of 20%. The beer selection is limited to Heineken, Corona, and Coors Light, with no options on tap. The establishment portrays itself as upscale, but falls short. The venue has potential for improvement. The service was mixed, with one bartender/server being inattentive and the other being excellent. The cocktails were enjoyable. The DJ provided good entertainment."

"I am regularly to davanti enoteca, since it opened in the north of the river and it visited at least once all two months. management, waiting and the kitchen support have not only exceeded my expectations for good quality and well prepared eating and service. they go the extra mile to fulfill my diet menus and are most often agree to the substitutions or other modifications at my entrees. the prosciutto-veal essential balls, the warm squash farrow salate, the meerrot oktopus and the ragu of the day are always great selections and my favorites. the special zuppe di mare that I had was wonderful and they should make it a standard menu item."

"Came here for happy hour (M-F 3-6), and we were super stoked to check this place out since they distill their spirits and make cocktails out of them. Walking in, I immediately noticed the boat that hung over the tables in the corner. We later found out the boat was once used to smuggle in rum in the local Portuguese Bend area. It got burnt in a garage fire, and has since been converted into a lighting at the distillery. The server was also very kind and gave us a sample of the spirits. Unfortunately, we liked but didn't love the cocktails we ordered. Perhaps we will return and try out other things on the menu. When we were leaving, we noticed they had DJs setting up upstairs. Seems like a good spot for a Friday night!"

"4th of July weekend, Sunday morning and all of our usual locally owned places are packed. We decided to try this Perkins. Only a 30 min wait so we stayed. So glad we did. First, the waitstaff is tremendous! So friendly, patient and attentive (thanks, Melissa! . Second, even though they were very busy, the food arrived lightening fast, hot and perfectly prepared. "When our food arrived, the bill appeared at the same time, which had to be adjusted later because we had ordered extra drinks. The waitress made me feel rushed by asking if I wanted a takeout box halfway through our meal. The food was decent, but my coffee was served at room temperature. I had to ask for sugar since it was not included with the napkins, which were only wrapped around the utensils. Overall, the experience felt very rushed."
