"If you're in the Springfield area, Cal's is a fantastic restaurant that you should definitely check out. The casual atmosphere is complemented by excellent service. I dined there for dinner and was pleasantly surprised by almost everything I tried. When you're in New England, you simply must sample the chowder—regardless of the weather outside! It was incredible. The coconut shrimp was enormous and delicious. I also ordered the fisherman’s platter; the fish was fresh and flavorful, though the breading was a bit on the heavy side. The filet mignon was definitely worth the price. I'll certainly be returning the next time I'm in the area."
