"The dining area and table were sticky, and the window sill was covered in dust and the remains of moths and flies. There were spider webs in the corners of the window. The bathroom was cluttered with paper towels and toilet paper. The food was below average, and the service felt rushed and impersonal—I’ve experienced better customer service in the pickup line at Dunkin’ Donuts. This wasn’t my first choice for dinner; I only ended up here because my favorite sushi place was closed, and it came recommended. I will never go back. In fact, the entire complex where this restaurant is located is poorly designed and not conducive to a pleasant experience. I’m planning to have a redo for my birthday dinner at my favorite spot instead."

"My boss was so nice to take my coworkers and I to this beautiful, unique, Up Scale restaurant in downtown Chicago . We went here last Friday night right after work and it was amazing. We work at Allstate Joshua Mercer agency and my boss treated us to dinner. Some of our Foods were , roast beef , steaks , lobster fried rice, oysters, and some delicious appetizer side dishes. However, I ate the lobster and shrimp rolls and the shrimp fried rice. I like how the shrimp fried rice was loaded with shrimp and fresh vegetables in the rice. and was very good. The Shrimp and lobster rolls had a mild but sweet dipping sauce that was a 10 and was so good , even good in my shrimp fried rice. I loved the intimate decor and the lights in this place. This place had amazing food,, service, views and scenery. The atmosphere was entertaining and creative. This was my first time inside of this restaurant, but I highly recommend this place . Rather you're local or visiting Chicago, this is definitely a go to place . I recommend you Bring about $400 to $500 for a date for two, but For a night out with a small group of friends bring atleast $900 to $2000 .Kid-friendliness: They had some kid friendly food like California rolls. ."

"We were running a little late but within 15 minutes of our reservation time. They gave out table away, but they didn’t give us any warning about the table being given away, even though Open Table has a 20 minute rule. We were able to be seated after 10 minutes of waiting. Not a big deal, but the restaurant should provide a disclaimer or a warning if their window doesn’t match Open Table’s. Food was okay. The location in the city is much better. Someone asked for a dish in mild and they mixed up which dish had the mild and which had the hot sauce. Overall, experience was fine."

"We went here on a recommendation from some friends. I believe we would’ve have had a better experience had our server been friendlier. Asking me “what’s up” when I say I have a question about the menu seems so unprofessional. The food was okay... we ordered the wanton cookie for dessert w/ espresso. The espresso came to us too early and was cold by the time we got our dessert. Having a server that understands timing and just simply understands being personable goes a long way. Not sure if I’d come back again but it’s a for me"

"My son and I visited Volcano during restaurant week and our overall impression was that the focus was on the service and food quality, rather than the price for the prix fixe menu. We received a beer, soup, two sushi rolls, and a single mochi dessert that appeared to have been previously frozen and chewed on. In the end, we paid $90 and were disappointed with the experience. Additionally, when our table was being cleaned, the staff combined our leftover desserts on one plate and placed it on top of the sushi plates, showing a lack of care. We are curious about their regular menu, but doubtful that we will return."

"This was for my girlfriends birthday and she had such an amazing time. Our service was impeccable. Frank and Liz knew ahead of time we were coming. They were so accommodating. The wait staff was friendly and phenomenal. The views are breathtaking and spectacular. You can’t beat the value. I highly recommend and would do again in a heartbeat. Great job by them."

"If it weren’t for an issue with the server, the experience at this Applebee’s would’ve been a 5 out of 5. Our server brought our dessert AND the check BEFORE my partner and I had even finished our entree. I took a picture because I’ve never experienced this before. Our dessert had ice cream and a hot brownie, which meant the ice cream began melting while we were still finishing our main course. And then having the check at the table when dessert arrives doesn’t quite make you feel welcomed. More so like we are being expected to leave soon. How disappointing for our Massachussets visit. Everything else like the food, prices and atmosphere were good at this restaurant. I hope all guests can be treated fairly and consistently."

"we celebrated our 50th anniversary in the large banquet room with family friends. the room was nice, the food was served family style and was served hot and absolutely delicious, especially the chicken stable. the server were attentive, friendly and polite. we had a few guests with special nutritional needs and they could not have enough about their meal rave. liz, the banquet coordinator, was wonderful to work with. she has returned my calls and emails quickly. I would recommend pane’s for special occasions."

"Service was disappointing. Waitress kept walking away while someone at our table was trying to request basic things, like glass of water, or a napkin. At end of meal, waitress did not return my credit card. She couldn't find it. I had to call my credit card company and turn the card off. The charge for our meal was the last recorded charge."
