"This place was delicious! Man, if you want something comforting to try and have the opportunity to dig into and night too, C.Q Noodles is a great place to be at. They open up till midnight so if you want a comforting bowl of noodles, they're until then. The ambiance was really quiet and the lighting was very soft, so it just reminded me of simple Chinese restaurant settings.I really liked the noodles because they were all handmade and it tastes super fresh. The portion size was pretty good, and the flavors of the noodle soup were well made.I ended up getting the House Special Noodle Soup, and the first thing that really stood out to me was the Beef Rib. Very tender and it literally fell off the bone. That was my favorite part. And the texture of the noodles was perfectly cooked. I definitely recommend getting this one. The Chongqing Chicken Wings were good too. I liked the stickiness of the sauce and I felt like I could taste that hint of black pepper immersed in the sauce. Pretty good appetizer to start off with too. Overall, this is a solid noodle place to come to and I would make my stops back here again!"

"We ordered to-go but I don’t think I would be returning…. I would five this place 2.5 stars..Agedashi is not what I expected. I don’t think this place knows how to make a proper agedashi tofu. This was just a dish that you would see at a Korean restaurant as a side dish. Extremely disappointed.Shrimp and vegetable tempura was okay. The veggie tempura was good but the shrimp tempura’s batter was awful. It was hard and very difficult to chew without cutting up inside of my mouth. They should have used the same batter as the veggie tempura.Next we ordered 4 different rolls. They were okay. The rice seems like it wasn’t properly marinated, the amount of rice on the rolls were excessive, and lastly the rice was over cooked. The rice was very mushy. Hopefully it wasn’t old rice they microwaved as it tends to make the rice extremely soft and loses a lot of the rice vinegar flavor.Overall, I would not recommend this place nor would I go back a second time."

"We noticed that TX is filled with Vietnamese restaurants, and this stands out to us as one of the most flavorful while being very affordable. I would deem this as our new go-to due until something else comes along. I would consider this an all-time high point for Vietnamese food. Vietnamese coffee was very unique, where it was brewed and completed in front of you. Pho was plentiful with the noodles, and broth was delicious. The fried spring rolls were a bit different, it's good, just different in taste. The sticky rice with mango was delicious, but unfortunately, the mango could have been a little bit more ripe. Highly recommended eatery!"

"We spent some time in the cozy room, but about 30 minutes into our meal, a table for 8 was seated at the table for 6 near us. It made it impossible for us to have a conversation. We left before ordering dessert. My partner and I are now reconsidering our reservation for Thanksgiving dinner, worried about a repeat of this experience. I was especially disappointed since I had chosen this restaurant. I understand there may not be much they can do about disruptive diners. On a positive note, my halibut was delicious."

"It took 3 times to learn that their priority is NOT customer service. 1. veg item w/ chicken came w/ tofu, said thought it was w/ chicken, was scolded mistake on my order (my fault) at table AND when I left restaurant at hostess stand; 2). billed for wrong order, tried to correct w/ them directly multiple times, finally called Visa and got correct; 3). most recently, they have fast food robots with blinking lights every 30 60 second going through whole restaurant by table when said annoying, they were okay with us leaving vs. not having rolling robots going by our table. Customer service #1 priority? Don't think so. Never going again, 3 x a bomb."

"I've been wanting to try this place for a while and it did not disappoint. I ordered a few items from the happy hour menu to try a variety of items. Everything was super flavorful. The Rozu-Yuzu highball was refreshing and strong, yet balanced. Definitely a great whiskey-based cocktail for all you whiskey drinkers who want to try something different. Service was great as well. "EDIT: This is actually just a completely different restaurant that bought the business from Yi Sushi and uses their name. That explains why it is nothing like Yi Sushi. This used to be my favorite sushi place ever and we frequented it for takeout all through the pandemic. We were so excited to see they were open for dine-in again... until we were told the new menu was missing the roll I specifically come here for: the West Roll. Also, the miso soup is sooo weird! It used to be my daughter's fave anywhere and now it's kind of sour and way too salty. We literally have no reason to come here anymore and will have to begin our hunt for a new favorite sushi spot."

"My fiancé took me to this restaurant a few months ago and I can’t get enough! I find it difficult to eat at other sushi restaurants now, especially places like Japponessa, because the quality here is unmatched. You can taste it in the food and the way it's prepared. Every roll I’ve tried has been fantastic, with the exception of crab rolls, as I’m not a fan of seafood. The best roll is the seared salmon tempura shrimp roll. The nigiri is also very good and high quality, offering great value for your money. The edamame is delicious and the calamari is outstanding, the best I’ve had in Washington so far. My fiancé and I have to order our own servings because it’s just that good! The black cod is also exceptional and their Miso soup is top-notch. I highly recommend trying out this restaurant. I believe it’s family-owned, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming, with amazing food whether you dine in or take out."

"Spent a birthday weekend in Sarasota. We made reservations thinking it may be limited seating due to distancing. Upon arrival, it was just our party at 7:30. The place quickly filled at 8:00 for a Saturday night. We thoroughly enjoyed and recommend the Dancing Shrimp roll. We ended up ordering another one since it was so good! The Udon soup noodle was ok. I’ve had better at other places. It was too much with the chicken in it. The broth was ok. We complimented the sushi chef as he did excellent on our sushi orders. Our servers were attentive but sure could’ve had more personality. We would revisit again."

"Zocalo was recommended to us by a family member and we were not disappointed. The food and drinks were amazing. Everything was fresh and had a wide range of visual and palate attractions. Each of us chose a different entre and we tried each other out. The WOWs went on around the table, from yellow tomato / cucumber gazpacho, meatballs, steak, softshell crab, scallops ... delicious, delicious, delicious! "Tremendous! First off, I somehow managed to get the night wrong, and even though the restaurant was fully booked outside only!, everyone went above and beyond to create a table for my husband and me, while never making me feel like the idiot that I was. Our food was outstanding...I had the Salmon with Korean BBQ sauce and would have loved to lick the plate : My husband had the ribs and not only did he think it was amazing and he's pretty picky, but it was a large enough portion that he was able to bring some home to enjoy the next day. Made him sooo happy!All through the meal, our service was top notch, from our waiter, to our busboy, and even the hostess...though we were off in a secluded corner rather romantic!, they never left us feeling ignored. All around, a perfect night. And my apologies to them for not paying closer attention when making my reso! Next time and there WILL be a next time, I promise to come on the correct night!"

"I 've eaten here many times, but had a bad experience last Tuesday night. The restaurant was not full at all, and they would not allow us to move to a quieter table, (or turn down the annoying TV that was blasting to no one. We finally moved tables, and ordered drinks. My tequila, lime, chile concoction was a disaster. I sent the drink back and the fix did not improve it. For $14 it should 've been a hit, but this was a total miss. The service was gruff, with little to no explanations offered to our questions on the menu (we had a vegan with us, so needed to know which dishes had dairy, etc. The food is very good, fresh and tasty, which is the only redeeming quality to this restaurant as the ambience, noise level, service and cocktails were all so bad."

"I ordered takeout on a Friday night the customer service was great. The interior had a lot of the dining room area blocked off with tables similar to something you would see during covid restrictions so there's limited seating. But the place was fairly busy. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and promptly given my food that I ordered. The problem that I had was that the Thai chicken fried rice should really be called Thai onion and chicken fried rice. I had the biggest slices of onion in my Thai chicken fried rice! I have never had that much onion! Thick long pieces of onion throughout my dish. Some of my carrots were crunchy. I picked out most of the onions and ate the dish. That was the only con. One of the pros is that I got three spring rolls! I was really happy with that as I've never received three spring rolls and really appreciate that because I love them. If I try this place again I think I might try one of the curry dishes and of course order the spring rolls again. Over all 4 stars."
