"EXTREME TOXIN WARNING!!!! This Facility uses Highly Toxic Styrofoam because they are cheap AND they do not care if they are poisoning Americans FOR OVER 20 YEARS THAT I KNOW OF. It took me a while to figure out why my whole body was tingling and feverish after eating the Sesame Chicken Lunch Special. I noticed that the very hot dish would acutely melt the Styrofoam bottom and cause it to leak out of the bottom AND MIXING INTO THE FOOD. Please let us ban together and never accept any food from this restaurant served in TOXIC STYROFOAM! I just called them to confirm that they are still using it, and his reply/excuse was that other restaurants use it to. This is a disgrace to our healthy living style in America and needs to stop now in all restaurants! Plastics are still toxic, but not as bad as Styrofoam. I have not found any Styrofoam, plastics or paper food containers that have ZERO levels of toxins, check online yourself, it will SCARE YOU to know what you have been eating like it did me, so I do not use them in or out of the home. After you stop eating from such product's, you will start to feel much better as the toxin levels go down in the body, this is my experience. After a few months, I felt like a new man, I can think much clearer now, and antioxidant foods and drinks helped make it ever better and fell improvements faster. I am a disabled Army Veteran and I care about Americas health and safety. Let's force all restaurants across the country to use safe toxin free packaging! Foil's Butcher safe materials may be a start? Happy Holidays God Bless Parking: I do not recommend, the food has gotten worse over the years."

"Overall: I love their menu at least all the things I have tried so far they have fantastic vegetable options that actually are delicious. Their ice cream is so amazingly creamy and the flavors are blend well if you like multiple flavors to have two different flavor scoops like my sister and I do. Best dishes in my humble opinion: I love their shu mai, sesame chicken, healthy jumbo shrimp with vegetables and their mei fun is the best of any place I have ever gotten taken out from. We order a lot especially while we were in the process of moving. They are friendly nice, clean, polite, and deliver and their delivery people are good and polite. Plus the food is has been fairly good quality the many days we have order Other positive things: For Disabled or low mobility people they have delivery that works out fine and I don't drive so that is good for me as I can't walk more than a few feet and use a wheelchair/ walker due to mobility issue from a past injury. One day I hope to be able to go there in person and see the ambience up close as I used to go to a diner with my family as a child and it looks so much like it (at least from the street when I have passed when I did have a ride into Ridgewood a few times in the past. Vegetarian options: They have tofu, vegetable only options and they have dishes that are vegetarian There's a nice mix for vegetarian or meat eaters/ fish eaters because their food is good with or without fish or seafood or chicken, and their tofu was nice so if going with friends or family who are meat eaters or vegetarian there is a good list of options Dietary restrictions: I can't eat eggs they always leave them out I also can't eat much meat or poultry and no red meat due to health issues and I never had an issue with it all the times we order. Also my food is never too spicy which is good as I have digestive system issues that are very delicate, the food is not suffering from a few adjustments Kid-friendliness: They have kid favorites like grilled cheese"

"If I could give this place 10 stars, I absolutely would! My husband is a vegetarian, and I have strict medical instructions to reduce my sugar and simple starch intake. Bistro Chen offers a fantastic variety of tofu dishes, and they even provide brown rice upon request for their sushi items. Their Dim Sum is the best in the suburbs! We especially love their Chinese broccoli, which can be steamed or stir-fried based on your preference. It is always incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection. The stir-fried baby bok choy is also highly recommended. If you're in the know, make sure to try the Ong Choy when it’s available. This water hyacinth might sound exotic, but there’s no need to be intimidated. Its flavor is a delightful blend between kale and spinach, and it's simply stir-fried with a hint of garlic for the perfect taste. Another must-try vegetable is the Sichuan green beans. The chef skillfully incorporates Sichuan peppercorns along with red chilies, garlic, and other ingredients, creating a depth of flavor that enhances the crisp-tender string beans. We’ve become so addicted to them that we order this dish every time we visit. Additionally, their sushi is incredibly fresh, generously portioned, and perfectly balanced between rice and fish. Their sushi rolls are creative, fun, and above all, DELICIOUS! The waitstaff is friendly and attentive, always happy to answer any questions we have about the availability of certain dishes. We can’t wait to return!"
