"The restaurant only offers a brunch menu for breakfast, including a Fruit Platter, Entree, and Dessert. We were informed that we could request our burrito to be made vegan, but there were limited options available. We had to substitute black beans and cilantro rice for the Mexican rice, which contains chicken stock. The quality of the food and presentation did not meet our expectations given the price. Overall, I would say that this restaurant is not very vegan-friendly for breakfast. I suggest exploring other options for breakfast."

"Took a while to be greeted. Sat outside on the patio because it was a nice evening. Bright, harsh lights really mess with the ambience. Server came back 20 minutes after placing drink order to ask what we had ordered to drink. Food came out quickly but fajitas weren’t served with tortillas. Server apologized, asked if we wanted flour or corn and then brought the wrong one. When I asked for the correct one, he brought them and then charged us $6 for them?! We were so over the whole experience that we just paid and left. It wasn’t worth continuing the headache."

"My sisters were visiting from out of town and we were going to the magic show at 7. The website stated that you need to plan for an hour and a half for dinner so we made the reservations for 5. Once seated we were greeted multiple times by different wait staff. We got our food and drinks ordered. We expected to get our drinks and have time together before our food arrived. It seemed to take some time to get our drinks and about the time I was going to check on that, all of food arrived. This was not even 10 minutes from our ordering the food. There was a problem at the bar and drinks did finally show up. I talked with the manager about this—especially suspecting that the chimichanga was pre-made and reheated for service. It looked tired. He swore that all food was freshly made. The food was good, the mole' sauce was as good as I get in Mexico. The manager did present a free dessert for the service problems. But not wonderful enough for me to plan a return trip."

I'm pretty sure I won't get food poisoning as the place was clean, but oh my gawd, I had to sit on my hands so I wouldn't sound like a Karen. I reached Gordon Ramsay level of mad at the state of this dish.Potatoes were undercooked.I ordered over easy eggs. You put them on a grill maybe a minute, take the flat spatula flip them and let them sit maybe 10-20 seconds and plate. I got Sunny side up eggs that somehow were Hard.The sausage links were cooked so long they were dry (I enjoy crispy sausages, but way overcooked)The apple pie pancakes with secret stuff (the secret is apples with apple pie seasoning and btw you can make it much better. Cut em up, a little bit of brown sugar, and apple pie spices and let them sit in the walk-in cooler. The juices from the apples comes out, and it won't be dry. Cook them in a little salted butter and put on TOP of the pancakes.)The pancakes were rubbery and I couldn't cut with a fork, I had to use a knife.If I didn't think the cook would spit in my food I'd have sent it back. I wanted to go into the kitchen and let my inner I'm-disappointed-in-you mother out and make the cook do a better meal, but A. Osha and Health violations as I'm wearing sandals, and I'm sure they wouldn't have let me near a wooden spoon with the amount of rage I was feeling. "The food is excellent at this restaurant. If someone judges a dining establishment solely on its appearance, they may want to consider looking elsewhere. The interior may not be the most visually appealing, but the food is delicious and I have never had any issues with the quality. "I always order the al carbon street tacos, and they are fantastic! They come with beans only, so I usually get a side of rice. I realize that's a common upselling strategy used by restaurants. The beans are tasty, but I've noticed they now contain a lot of pork fat. The dining area is clean, and the service is quick."

"We have dined here 2 or 3 times a year for over 10 years. In the last few years the standard seems to have slopped and the menu is not what it used to be. The location and the ambiance is amazing. The actual food and value for money is not so good. Biggest disappointment tonight was my linguini with clams. Maybe 8 clams in their shells with pasta in melted butter for $33. When I did not eat the pasta and refused a take home box the server did not even ask if it was okay. Totally unimpressed."

"We were out of town and a friend recommended this restaurant to us. Unfortunately, the food was really bland. It's hard to mess up enchiladas and chicken tacos, but they did. The only highlight of our visit was the happy hour margaritas and queso, which were enjoyable. As former waiters ourselves, we found the service to be quite poor. We had to ask for more drinks and chips, and our waiter didn't introduce himself or check on our meals at all. Overall, I can't recommend this place."

"Nice place very colorful. BYOB and they made us our sangria while we waited for the other couple to show. Tasted good with little pieces of fruit was nice change. The guys had ground beef enchiladas which were filled nicely and bubbly hot with melted cheese. Tasted very fresh. One of the ladies had taco salad which was big and nice amount of shredded chicken. Other one got a triple combo with enchilada, chimichanga and burrito. First two had ground beef last had shredded chicken. All were good although she seem to taste a curry flavor with the red sauce. Neither of us boys elthat had enchiladas with the red sauce had that flavor though. Service was fast and friendly. We asked if they had a military discount and they came back with 10% discount which was nice. Great place all around!"

"It's a decent Mexicamerican place. The Painkiller was a good non-Margherita drink option. The guacamole still is great, as are most of the foods you'd expect to find...it's just not quite as good as it was years ago. Vegetarian options: They are pretty good about tweaking the menu options to cater to tastes. Dietary restrictions: Again, they are usually pretty accommodating to tweaking dishes...it really depends on your restrictions. Parking: Largish parking lot with overflow spaces at the old Rec Center. Kid-friendliness: It is a family restaurant."

"I have been a loyal customer for quite some time and have never had a negative experience with the food or the staff. The food is consistently fresh and delicious, and the staff is always accommodating. This is the only restaurant I will go out of my way to visit from Freedom Hill just to order the Kaldo. The Queso is also enjoyable, with a mild heat that never overpowers the flavors. I have always received excellent service here, and despite the occasional language barriers with my children, they leave each time feeling happy."

"A few nights ago, I had dinner with my best friend in the bar area of our favorite restaurant. We’ve dined here before and enjoyed both the atmosphere and the food. This time, we were served by Becca, who was incredibly attentive and polite. We absolutely adored her! We even requested to speak with her manager to commend her on her outstanding service. The manager recognized us from our previous visits, which was nice. With both of us having experience in the restaurant industry, we know quality service when we see it. We also want to shout out to Juan, the manager. He’s exemplary at his job, always going above and beyond to assist both guests and staff, whether it’s helping the hostesses or bartenders. He truly ensures everyone is well taken care of. We love this restaurant—the prices are very reasonable, and the food is delicious! We’ll definitely be back soon!"
