"Got breakfast here, but boy, do they skimp out on ingredients. I got the dungeness crab omelette, described as coming with avocado. The omelette itself was tasty but couldn't have been made with more than two small eggs. The crab meat itself was great, and I had a few good mouthfuls. The single small slice of avocado that came on top of the omelette... was kind of sad. I got the homefries with it, and they didn't look like photos I had seen in other reviews. Maybe I didn't look close enough. I expected pan-fried potatoes, onions, and peppers. Instead, I got small cubed potatoes that seem to have been deep fried or even air fried. They were crispy and dry on the outside and slightly moist in the center. I got maybe 3 specks of bell pepper, and likewise for the onion. It also came with a biscuit, and this was the star of the plate. The other items might have well been a side to this thing. It came with butter and what I think was strawberry rhubarb jam, which I loved. The buiscuit was crispy on the outside and fluffy in the center. Unfortunately, the food also came out luke-warm, I don't need it to be screaming hot, but it definitely had been sitting at the pass a little too long or something. The staff was very nice and the restaurant has a cool atmosphere. Overall, my meal wasn't bad. It had plenty that I liked, but it was way overpriced for the portion and could have come out hotter/fresher. If the homefries would have been better, that and the buiscuit could have made me overlook the meager omelette. I would like to come back and try dinner sometime. "Going to Mama Jennie's is like going home to mom's cooking. Maybe it's the name. Just saying it seems to make one feel like really going to mama's place...to eat, of all things. I mean, you have to go try this place, if you haven't been there yet. For those of you who've been there, you know what I'm talking about. Mama Jennie's is the place to bring all your friends and family for a great meal, great time, and great atmosphere. The staff is the best. Never will you have any problems with your orders. Instead, you most likely will get a little extra of something. Especially for the little ones. My kids love going there because whichever waitress we get, the kids get the best attention. They treat you and your family like their own and make you feel right at home. I just have to remind myself that if we go there again, we need to go early so we can have time to walk the dinner off. Everytime I go I walk out of the restaurant so stuffed because their servings are pretty big. And the garlic rolls? Forget it. Once you bite into your first, you're not going to stop. Then by the time your order comes, you're ready to take it home. The bread and the wine always do me in. I'd eat half my dinner and then take it home. Great wine too. Can't go wrong with anything you order from the menu because it's all great. I go there often with my family and sometimes with friends and always, we walk out of there very satisfied. Tonight is going to be different. This is why I ended up on this site. I decided to order dinner in. So looked up their website and found this, and here we are. : I wanted to see their menu but it's not on this site so I called the number (from this site . Got my order taken and...It’s already here. Sooner than she said too. So let me go enjoy now. You go eat there, order in, and then write your review too."
