"I had breakfast at this restaurant as part of my stay at the DoubleTree Hotel. The place was quite busy in the morning, with many guests holding business meetings and lingering at their tables. The service was good, though not exceptionally friendly. Upon seating, they provide a beverage if it’s not available on the buffet. Plates are cleared promptly without feeling rushed. I didn’t order anything from the kitchen, as the buffet met all my breakfast needs quite well. The buffet was restocked with hot food as needed, and I found everything to be tasty. The fresh fruit was ripe, and the pastries looked great, with a variety of croissants and baked goods available, including a fresh loaf of nut bread and a self-service toaster. The hot food selection was somewhat limited but fresh. They had pre-made pancakes, oatmeal, and grits, along with thick sliced potato chips and scrambled eggs topped with shredded cheese. The bacon was a bit greasy but enjoyable. The standout item was the breakfast sausage, which was locally sourced and absolutely delicious, with a nice crunchy casing and flavorful spices and cheese inside. I could have eaten the entire batch! They also provided a hot coffee pitcher for the table, allowing you to refill as needed. Overall, the food was quite enjoyable, even though there was less variety compared to a complimentary breakfast buffet at a Hampton Inn. I’m not sure how much the buffet costs, and I’ve heard they’re not fond of making special-order omelettes. However, for me, it was a very good experience."

"The only thing good I can say about this restaurant and I use the term restaurant lightly is that we were seated quickly, everything else about the experience was horrific. We were seated outside, but only one of the heaters were working so we were cold the entire time. I should have known what type of evening I had to look forward to after discovering the restaurant has a C grade. After standing in line for minutes for the salad bar I was given a cucumber and tomato salad that smelled rancid, cold mashed potatoes and gravy and wilted romaine lettuce drizzled with blah ranch dressing. The only edible thing from the salad bar was the bland corn on the cob. Actually the corn was the only edible and recognizable thing I saw in the entire restaurant. While waiting at the salad bar I noticed a sign stating that a gratuity was going to be automatically added to the bill, but after tasting the food I understood why the restaurant had to force their customers to tip. I'm sure no would do so voluntarily after eating there. When I finally got back to my table there was a wooden cutting board with random meats on it. I cut a piece off of what appeared to be steak and it was dry, without seasoning and freezing cold. I didn't even attempt to try the other assorted meats served. My daughter brought me there for Mother's Day so I tried to stay upbeat and optimistic. There was a nice mother and son sitting next to us and we sparked up a great conversation. My youngest daughter also had a reservation, but I was able to warn her in time so that she could leave before she ordered. I would like to chalk this experience up to it being Mother's Day, but considering they have had a C rating for several months, I'm guessing my experience is pretty par for the course.I WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE EAT HERE...EVER"
