"Came with my partner for lunch, on recommendation from a friend and we were not disappointed. we had the soup and laughter. Tasteful and beautiful presentation. The main was Tortellini and Lachs. Again delicious and looked great. Dessert was passion fruit cheesecake bar that was amazing!"

"While I only order burgers from here rarely, the reason I order from them irregularly is because of their irregular, completely unsustainable hours and mediocre staff. Please find me a diner, any diner, that has these kind of ridiculous hours. No diner can survive on operating from 9am to 9pm. No diner. Especially in post covid New York. I don?t know if they?re planning on shutting the doors soon but if they do, i?m hoping a real diner opens up here and provides a properdiner experience. Couple of suggestions to accomplish that: 1. Pass all your food safety and health inspection requirements (apparently this is something they?re having an issue with given the recent reviews? . 2. A diner operates on a14-16 hour schedule at a minimum. That means opening up for the morning crowd of people who actually work for a living. You remember those people, right? The people that get up at 6am. Additionally, no diner closes before 11pm on a weekend.That?s just a rule. Anywhere. It?s doesn?t require explanation. 3. Hire a staff that understands customer service. Every time i?ve gone in there, the wait staff never provides complementary water or anything while you?re waiting to pick upfood. The previous establishment did this without even asking. It was a beautiful display of caring and repeat business. Something the current staff could care less about. 4. For the love of god, put in better lighting! It is the darkest,most depressing diner anyone could ask for. No one of quality wants to spend any time in your dimly lit cavern of an establishment. "Ok I have ALOT of good things to say about this restaurant. I have been here more than 3 times and I keep coming back because everything is a great experience. First, the service is amazing. The staff there is lovely and warm, and helpful if you have questions. There has never been a problem with any of the ladies who have served us. Secondly, the restaurant is clean and very appealing in all aspects. Tables are never sticky and floors are never dirty. I love their effort in their decorations and I love love love the atmosphere. Music is authentically Mexican and something you enjoy hearing as a backdrop. They have a tv on in there that is not too distracting but nice to look at. Last but never least, the food is on par! Everytime my group goes there we always get nachos as appetizer and they are so amazing and the presentation is so nice! I’ve gotten the enchiladas, burrito, tacos, and they have never disappointed. Perfectly seasoned and plated. My friends only had good comments the whole time while eating. Not only is this my favorite restaurant but they are consistent and hopefully they continue! Love it there"

"Don't be fooled by the outward appearance; the restaurant looks small from the outside. Once you're inside, the atmosphere is cozy and authentic, and you're greeted by a delightful array of aromas that make your mouth water. The main dish was outstanding, and the dessert was delicious as well. The service was top-notch. The only downside was the fountain soda—I'd recommend opting for canned drinks or Malta instead. Overall, it's a fantastic place with amazing chicken. I’ll definitely be back! And I almost forgot to mention the pupusas—they were the best I’ve ever had!"

"This charming little deli specializes in Mexican cuisine and offers delicious, authentic dishes along with an impressive selection of beverages. The service is friendly and attentive. In addition to the dining area, they also have a small convenience store stocked with traditional Mexican items and foods. While there are seating options available, they can feel a bit cramped, and the television may be somewhat loud, which can detract from the dining experience if you choose to eat in. I recommend opting for takeout instead! The tacos are decent, the quesadillas are good, and the cemitas and tortas (Mexican sandwiches) are excellent. I’ve visited this place several times over the past decade, and the food has always been consistently good."

"We found this place on our way walking to the 1 train to 145th Street. We smelled tacos from outside and we all of a suddenly craved tacos so we gave it a try. We ordered their Chicken Taco, Mexican Sausage Taco, and Cactus Taco. This was our first time seeing Cactus Taco on a menu so we wanted to try it out. We didn't know what kind of Cactus it was because we know there are various different kinds of cactus but it was a nice option for a veggie taco. It had a slightly sour or acidic flavor, similar to green beans or okra. It was tasty overall. Our favorite was the Mexican Sausage Taco, it's always been our favorite and go-to taco. The Chorizo taco was savory and spicy, You never could go wrong with ordering a Chorizo taco. The Chicken Taco has a mild and savory flavor that was also juicy. Overall, what a great restaurant to come across when you are in the neighborhood."

"The service was excellent, and the food was quite tasty, although a bit oily and rich. Our server was very attentive and offered useful suggestions from the menu. My wife and I tried the Alambre Mixto, the Tortilla soup, and the roasted Jalapeños, along with Jamaica water and a Tamarindo drink. Everything was good and met the quality and flavor expectations of "Kette Restaurant." My only note is that the dishes were a touch greasy, which made them linger in my stomach for a while."

"Have eaten here before and had good service. Tonight the waitress could not take my order because “no english understand”. She went to get Mgr. I observed her tell two ladies pointing at me. Both ladies continued socializing with a group at other end of restaurant. After watching them for 15 minutes with no help or acknowledgement, I left. I won’t be back."

"This place is so ass. My brother and I were hungry so we decided to try this spot, he ordered a burrito and I got tacos . 2 empanadas, a torta a chorizo quesadilla. Mind you the tacos are $14.00 for 3 so I'm over here already in shock by the prices. So I'm thinking it better b worth the money. Nothing hurts more than being disappointed by FOOD. My tacos came w barely any fucking meat . it was all tortilla no meat, the burrito came drenched in some kind of sauce . My other brother didn't even bother eating his quesadilla, the empanadas tasted like straight masa were over fried. I end up telling my mom about this when we told her where we ordered from she tells us how she's gonna there before with her boyfriend and they also had a horrible experience with the food... Overall it's definitely OVERPRICED for the bad quality of food they serve . First and last time. prior to ordering I checked the reviews ... stop gassing this garbage ass spot up It's not worth the hype"

"Great spot for tortas and tacos, will have to try their other stuff. I tried 4 different tacos (al pastor, barbacoa, asada, and carnitas) my first time. The barbacoa was my favorite and something unique. All of them were very tasty, served with side cups of spicy red salsa(will make you sweat a bit) and a milder green salsa, with a lime wedge for each taco. Tacos have the meat with onions and cilantro. 2nd trip I tried their Barbacoa torta especiale, and I can see why they are known for their tortas. I'm not sure if the bread is made fresh there or not, but it tasted veryyy fresh. They don't list what comes on the sandwich on their menu so here: meat, avocado, tomato, cheese, onion, and jalapeno. The flavors blend extremely well and ingredients were very fresh. On the side they give you a cup of spicy orange sauce(really tasty with some heat) and their green salsa. They have someone who can speak English if you are unable to speak Spanish. Average time for order to be ready is about 7 minutes as they make everything fresh."

"I would give zero stars if I could. I did take out and they forgot to give me my entire entree (I ordered two). When I got home, I realized it and called them but it was after close so I had to call several times for someone to pick up. They refused to refund me, so I settled with them saying they would give me a credit that I could use whenever I wanted. I just called to try and use it and they told me no because it had been too long (6 months), despite the manager at the time telling me that it would never expire."

"We moved to the area about 3 years ago and have been looking for a great Tex-mex place since we got here. Las Anita’s fits the bill. It’s not fancy. It’s a bit of a dive. "I really want to enjoy this restaurant, but their consistently incorrect orders are truly surprising. It's tough for me to write this, but I believe they need to be aware of the issue. This isn't just a one-time thing. We've ordered from them more than 15 times, trying to give them multiple chances, yet almost every order has been wrong. If I request no sour cream, I often receive extra; if I ask for pinto beans, I get black beans or nothing at all. If I order tacos, I frequently end up with a different dish."

"DO NOT COME HERE unless you are okay with paying the owner of this place to treat you like garbage at no fault of your own. The owner of this place is absolutely disgusting. He blames the customer for the staff 's shortcomings. Regardless of the quality of the food, no one wants to go somewhere to be treated like garbage while paying them. Specially when it is their fault. Not only were we, the customer, nice enough not to give them a hard time for the mistake they did, but the audacity of the owner to behave in such a way has no excuse. I can 't believe the staff is actually nice but the owner, OWNER, who should be grateful for his customers treats them as if he is doing us a favor.My family ordered a large order over the phone for pick up. When my sister arrived to pick up the order, she realized they had made a mistake and politely alerted the person at the counter. We have worked in customer service so we understand how nasty customers can get over a simple mistake. When the person at the counter walked over to the kitchen to notify the staff of the change . A man in the kitchen started screaming and cursing blaming us for the order not being correct and saying it was our fault while hiding his face. My sister asked the girl at the counter who that man was and how she could contact higher management to report the man 's behavior. The girl shyly responded saying that the man screaming was the owner. Needless to say our family will no longer be supporting this establishment."
