"That said, this can still be considered a must-try restaurant, particularly for their smoked ribs and OMY fingers, which I highly recommend. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food! The cuisine offers a delightful fusion of Filipino and American BBQ. Initially, I had hoped to order from the all-day breakfast menu, but it wasn't available at the time, so I went with the three meats and two sides combo—smoked ribs, a chicken leg quarter, and OMY fingers, alongside smoked beans and garlic rice—for $18. Given the portion size, this is quite a good deal. The smoked ribs are a standout feature; they are succulent with just the right amount of tenderness—not too mushy—and have a deliciously sweet marinade. The portion was generous too. The chicken leg quarter, though moist and tender, could use a bit more flavor. It shared similar seasoning with the smoked ribs, but it was toned down. Now, let’s talk about the OMY fingers—absolutely delectable! Often, the filling in shanghai lumpia can either be too dry, bland, or overly salty, but that’s not the case here. The pork filling shines with rich flavor, complemented perfectly by the carrots and perhaps celery. The balance between the pork, carrot, and seasoning is simply excellent. This dish is definitely a must-try. The smoked beans and garlic rice, however, were the least impressive components of the meal. The garlic rice didn’t have the robust aroma or flavor of fried garlic; it tasted more like plain rice with a sprinkle of garlic powder and salt—not terrible, but forgettable. As for the smoked beans, they had a mildly interesting taste that hinted at pork but didn’t fully impress me—good, but not great. Overall, I plan to return and try more items from the menu!"
