"I wanted this place to thrive, but In the last year, dwindling stock and several entirely empty shelves has overcome this mini-market. If you talk with the lead worker there..... the empty shelves are because of the pandemic and problems acquiring stock from our supplier. However, every minimarket or even the smallest liquor stores in the immediate area have fuller stock and range of goods at cheaper sales prices.. Example..... no more milk products, no more bread, no more etc etc etc. So i am completely not buying their answer/excuse of supplier issues . If it 's a supplier problem, get a new supplier....... so simple."

"Concord Market's catering service is outstanding and a true gem in our local area. Their variety of sandwiches is mouthwatering, including chicken salad wraps, turkey and cheddar, and ham and cheese on crispy bread, all topped with fresh lettuce and tomato. They generously provide plenty of mustard and mayo packets on the side. The beautifully packaged giant cookie boxes are incredible, offering flavors like rainbow sprinkle, chocolate sprinkle, chocolate chip, caramel, and white chocolate-dipped cookies. Additionally, there are large individual bags of potato chips to suit different preferences. The range of cold sodas and the included plasticware, plates, and napkins were perfect. Everything arrived early and was neatly arranged. I’m pretty sure we even got some extra treats! Overall, I’m a very satisfied customer!"

"Had a reservation for Easter brunch at Beasts and Brews this morning. Went there and got seated as there weren’t that many people. 45 mins later, our order was still not on our table. When we asked the server for an ETA on our food, she goes ‘I have no idea. We normally have a full kitchen but only have 2 in there right now.’ Later on, after 5 mins, she approaches us and says ‘there is still one ticket ahead of you.’ Normally, I understand food staffing issues. But (1) we made reservations so they know people are coming, and (2) we could have been told how long the wait is for the food ahead of time. I’ve even had restaurants call me ahead of time (morning of) apologizing for canceling my lunch/dinner reservation later that day due to staffing issues. I have ZERO issues with that since they were polite enough to give me enough Normally, I understand food staffing issues. "Our food was great but the service was awful. We waited 30 minutes to receive our check, as did the table next to us that had small children. During that time, our plates weren't even cleared. When our table of 6 asked for refills on drinks, she took each glass away, one at a time, and brought it back. Whenever we asked for something, such as salt and pepper, she acted as if we were putting her out or asking for something special or unreasonable. She wore a rumpled shirt that looked like she had just gotten out of bed, not something you expect for the menu price. Our service at this restaurant has never been very friendly but at least we received service."

"We ordered prepared meals for dinner and they were absolutely outstanding. We enjoyed chicken parmesan, grilled chicken with yams and artichokes, buffalo chicken bites, fried rice, and of course, cookies, toffee, and a slice of German chocolate cake. Our whole family was delighted. Everything was incredibly tasty. The staff was very friendly, and the place itself is charming. We'll definitely return to try lunch and plan to have them cater an upcoming event, not to mention making them our go-to for take-out dinners. Thank you!"

"includes a mix of fresh seafood and vegetables stir-fried in a savory garlic sauce. The portion size was generous and the flavors were excellent. The seaweed salad was a nice addition and I appreciated the complimentary offering for checking in. The staff were friendly and the service was efficient. Overall, a great experience and I will definitely be back to try more dishes."

"The cupcakes are amazing, they are very delicious and fresh BUT THE ATTENTION OF ONE EMPLOYEE WAS SO BAD AND RUDE WITH THE CLIENT. It was in the central ave location in Jersey City. I was in the side of your pastries not inside where your employee was working but the way that your other employee was with me I did not like it. I work with clients too and she was very rude with a client. I definitely I will come back because your pastries are so good only you have to be careful with your employees how they are with the clients."

"We've been going here for years, but unfortunately there's been a number of recent changes that just don't make it worth it. We don't live nearby so we would always take a cooler, buy a bunch of stuff, and freeze it when we got home. I completely understand that they need to discontinue items that are not popular (e.g., cosmic cake One of the best desserts in the city if you ask us) but some of the new replacements are really not that great. For example, flourless chocolate cake. Usually that is an extremely decadent, rich, fudgie cake. They have is about 2 inches of kind of flavorless whipped cream on top of an overly sweet chocolate cake. Last time we were there it took 20 minutes to get a slice of cake when they were not busy (in fact, there was four women in the serving area apparently there was only one person who could cut cake and none of these others were allowed to which doesn't make a lot of sense if you ask me). And that kind of summarizes it and why we will l stop going."

"Ordered two slices of cake to go along with an iced latte. Well, despite the fact that they have many of their cake slices pre-wrapped to-go, Ateaz does not have any utensils for your to-go order. It’s always such an oddity to me when you have a place like Areaz in a fairly busy area on the UES and they “run out” of basics like to-go utensils, the odd part being that if they grabbed a $20 out of the register they could probably go buy enough utensils to last until they can get some more in from their usual supplier. (Interestingly enough, they did have plastic knives, so this isn’t some sort of anti-plastics statement on the part of management. The iced latte was good enough, but with so many coffee places to choose from, I can’t imagine returning if the management has so little concern for customers’ convenience."

"I visited this bakery couple of weeks ago, I literally just wanted something simple like an empanada and a coffee. While waiting in line I saw the empanadas which looked good and realized they also had tequeños on their menu; so I ordered the Spinach Empanada and a Cafe con Leche. They didn't have the spinach empanada but I decided to go for the tequeños; however, they didn't have any either. The cashier offered a Spinach Croqueta but didn't look too fresh and was pretty greasy. So I ended up getting a Cheese Pastelito which was ok but tasted like not the best quality of food. The coffee was good tho."

"Meemos Breakfast never disappoints. The staff is pleasant and there are various menu options, including a smaller breakfast for children or seniors. Waffles, omelettes, skillets, and all fresh items from the wonderful bakery are consistently delicious. On Sunday mornings, we like to visit with a group of friends, although Meemos is often quite busy, which can sometimes lead to slow service. However, faster service is available for those in a rush. The family owners are always welcoming and make us feel at home. The cupcakes and decorated cookies are perfect for parties."
