"My family and I visited Inn Spot for Christmas in 2018. It was our first Christmas without my Mom, so I wanted to try something new for my Dad and three children. The dinner was amazing for all 5 of us (my husband couldn't join us due to a fever). I couldn't stop praising the food to my husband, and my Dad agreed that it was outstanding and well worth the 50-minute drive. However, when just the three of us returned for Christmas Day in 2019, we were disappointed for various reasons. The service was great and the location was beautiful, but my Dad found the goose to be not as good as the previous year, describing it as "grainy and dry." The stuffing in my turkey dinner had large chunks of bread and lacked flavor. Additionally, the waiter had incorrectly described a gingerbread chiffon dessert as actually being a piece of gingerbread, causing some confusion. Despite this, the ambiance was lovely, and we felt bad for hyping up the restaurant based on our perfect experience the year before. The portions were generous, the flavors were nice, and the prices were reasonable."
