"I gave m&k a try for lunch yesterday. It 's my first time trying Jamaican food other than maybe a couple of bites of jerk chicken on random trips to the Caribbean. It was a success! The inside of the restaurant is super cute bright colors, lotsof art. They have speakers playing reggae type music both inside and outside. Little bit of outdoor seating simple tablesand chairs and a bit more seating inside than I expected. The menu is fairly large with a lot of different options. Youplace your order at the counter. Regardless of here/to go, all orders seem to come out in styrofoam boxes. The service waspolite and was working efficiently. They were fairly busy even around 11:45 on a Tuesday. I decided I wanted to try currychicken. Many of the entree/plate combos come with rice and pigeon peas, cabbage, and plantains, which was fine with me! I gotthe medium portion and it still probably could 've stretched two meals if you weren 't crazy hungry. Overall, I really enjoyedmy meal! The chicken was absolutely MELTING off the bone. Super moist and delicious. The curry just had a delightful, complexflavor not spicy at all, in my opinion. Loved that there was a little extra curry to soak into the rice. The rice and peaswere also great, very fluffy and flavorful in its own right! Plantains struck a nice balance of chewy and tender. My onlycomplaint is I thought the cabbage was a little too salty for my preference...that being said, better salty cabbage than blandcabbage. Lol. Definitely looking forward to returning! I can see myself ordering this again or branching out and tryingsomething new."
