"I visited this evening to pick up a few items and was shocked by the way the oldest staff member (possibly the owner or manager) spoke to a group of teenagers in the store. The teens had all made purchases and were waiting at the register for their last friend to pay when the manager told them, "If you’ve already paid for your treats, please step outside." There is definitely a more respectful way to communicate with customers, regardless of their age, especially right after they've made a purchase. It's also important to remember that you have teenagers working there as well. If that's how you speak to your staff, perhaps some training would be beneficial. As a parent of a teenager, I found the tone to be quite rude. If the kids were loitering without making any purchase, that would certainly be a different situation. Just a reminder: you never know who is paying attention or listening."
