"Solid North Indian dishes for buffet, and you can taste a lot more of the lighter spices herbs than in most other Indian food restaurants' food. My go-tos are dal, saag, butter chicken sauce on tandoori chicken, with naan. I've never had hot kheer rice pudding, but it's a nice dessert after the buffet. One thing I would suggest is to put a bit more chicken pieces into the butter chicken. It's mostly sauce so I compensate by throwing that over tandoori chicken."

"Walking up to the door from the parking lot it does not look like much. The sit down restaurant is much larger and nicer inside than it leads on. The smells walking up are filled with spices but once the door opens that all goes away. The smell of incense takes over, please change this so we can wafe in the food smells, that is what we are there for...the food.My recommendation is if you are with a group, order many dishes for the table to share. This would be better than everyone ordering their own dish. The food was delicious but since it is all covered in sauce, the same flavor for the entire meal will get old."

"I've never had bad Indian food in my life until today. I have tried many different Indian restaurants, and while some are more delicious than others, it was never disappointed. Indian food is always good. that wasn't. I ordered chicken tikka masala and what I got, not even slightly resemble any tikka masala I ever had. it was bright yellow and completely tasteless. I had tikka masala sauce from a glass that was 50x better than that. I can't find out if they gave me the wrong court, or if this is just the worst tikka masala that ever exists. Portions are kind of small. two stars instead of 1 because the mango leti only redeems something about this whole order."

"We typically order takeout, but this time we decided to dine in. The food is delicious and of high quality, but the service left much to be desired. No one came to check on us or ask if we needed anything. We had to request water and other items ourselves. Additionally, the bathroom could use some improvements. The faucet has very low water pressure, making it difficult to wash your hands properly. I found myself wondering how the staff managed to wash their hands in compliance with health regulations. While I absolutely love their food, I’ll have to rate this visit four stars. I hope they address these issues on my next visit."

"We ordered food (dinner) for a party and picked-up from Peacock Dublin. Some items were good but some were pretty bad. Despite asking multiple times, Mr. Naidu (is his name I think) said the food is well packed and no issues in transporting in our car.With just about 15-20 miles of (careful) drive, the Gulab Jamoon spilled all over the car (brand new car). They actuallycharged a good amount of money (upwards of $400) for a relatively small order. We knew the charges beforehand, so I am notcomplaining of the money itself. My main concern are quality of food and poor packing that damaged brand new car floor. Lookingat other reviews, I am not expecting oh we are sorry this happened or what can we do to fix your car kind of response sinceit seems they don 't care for customers. I am only posting so that it helps other customers to protect from this happening totheir car."

"I ordered the family package with the amazing Biryani, which includes a Manchurian option on the side. My family and I absolutely love it! They always seem busy, but considering their popularity, a wait of 15 to 20 minutes is reasonable for me—especially when I order in the store. However, my order actually came out in just 5 to 10 minutes, which was faster than I expected, so I give full marks for both the taste of the Biryani and the quick service. "First of all I don't know why this place has 3 stars, it deserves 5 star for many reasons. 1. I have never seen this place empty, always people are either dining in or taking out. 2. The only Indian restaurant in Mira Mesa which is open till late night, 10:30 on weekdays, 11:30 pm on weekends. For this reason past 9 this is our go to place. 3. Wide range of menu 4. Biryanis are to die for. I have also tried other things from the menu and have not been disappointed. 5. They take phone orders and will not make any mistake. Highly recommend this place."
