"Visiting with family and we all wanted some good sushi for dinner and decided on Yoko’s. They had a 30 min wait but it was nice outside so we waited. Not our first time and parking is still a challenge on busy nights so we came early expecting it, and a wait. Once seated we ordered drinks appetizers and service was hit or miss. One or two of our party of 5 would not get their order without additional prompting of the server. I get it when it’s busy, and it might happen once during a visit, but it happened multiple times and often to the same person s. Food order came, same issue. One order not delivered and we would have to eat or those who ordered hot food would have to eat cold food. Food we did get however was great as usual. I had the steam buns, sashimi dinner and grind. All of them made and presented well. Others ordered gyozas, edamame, ramen, yakisoba, and a bento box. No one had any complaints other than one, or two orders, not getting it with the others. We have been eating here for as long as I can remember with my parents. Service is usually pretty great, but not this visit. Either the waiter or kitchen was out of sorts out of sync. Food was definitely still worth it though so we will likely return our next visit. But we will have to see then if service has improved. Maybe it was a one off night?"
