"**Convenience:** This spot is just minutes away from the airport, making it ideal for those heading to or arriving at LAX. Most rental car companies are also nearby, so it's an easy place to stop for a meal.
**Safety:** While this area isn’t the safest, you should be okay if you’re cautious. Los Angeles has its own set of street dynamics, so it's important to respect the local community, avoid lingering, and not draw attention to yourself. You're there to eat, so just focus on that.
**Parking:** Parking is available only on one side of the restaurant. If you sit near the front entrance, you won't be able to see your car.
**Seating:** Roscoe's operates as a walk-in restaurant and generally has enough space to accommodate parties of all sizes, offering both table and booth seating.
**Food:** Roscoe's is famous for its Chicken and Waffles, and in my opinion, that's what they should focus on. The waffles are soft, thin, and delicious, while the chicken is savory. I tried some sides like eggs and grits, and I probably should have stuck to just the main dish. The hot sauce has a nice kick without being overly spicy.
**Cleanliness:** The restaurant has two bathrooms, and there's a sink outside for handwashing if you want to avoid the restroom. Despite my love for Roscoe's, I still feel the need to soak my utensils in hot water before using them, as the kitchen isn't far from the seating area.
**Service:** The service is typically good. Your main interactions will be when you're seated, placing your order, or asking for the bill.
**Checkout:** One feature I appreciate is that after the bill is brought to your table, you go up to the register to pay before leaving. This means there's no waiter hovering around to check if you're ready to settle up or using a handheld device to process payments.
Overall, this location is often my go-to when I arrive in LA or when I'm getting ready to head home. The food is quite filling, and it’s a casual spot where you can enjoy a quick meal."
