"Now, about the food. It was freshly made and came in generous portions. The Bourbon Chicken was incredibly tender, and the sauce was just right. However, the pork fried rice had very little pork in it, and I can understand why some reviewers claimed it seemed stale. Fried rice is typically made with day-old rice, and I noticed that some customers complained because it wasn’t made with Jasmine rice, which many Asian restaurants use. Instead, it was made with a simple short-grain rice, making it appear somewhat dry and less fresh.
On the bright side, the Boneless BBQ spare ribs were delicious and very tender. For a small size, the portion was quite generous. Unfortunately, the House Special Lo Mein was rather bland and lacking in seasoning. It had barely any shrimp, beef, chicken, or vegetables, leaving it too plain for my taste. I decided to enhance it with some of my homemade Filipino seasonings, cooked it in my wok, and the flavors improved significantly. Now I have leftovers for dinner.
In total, my meal cost $33.16, which I didn’t think was too bad considering some reviews. It’s important to remember that some critiques are about dishes that aren't truly authentic Chinese. These recipes were adapted by Chinese immigrants to cater to American tastes."
