"Despite the lack of patrons, we chose to stay and eat. Unfortunately, we found the prices to be exorbitantly high, similar to other upscale restaurants, but the service fell short. I requested a table by the water, only to be told they couldn’t accommodate us due to being short-staffed, even though the table was just three away. This raised a significant red flag for me, as refusing to meet a guest's request is unacceptable.
Moreover, the demeanor of the water server left much to be desired. They exhibited a lack of respect, no smiles, and rude behavior that was quite disheartening. It made me question the hiring practices in the restaurant industry—if you’re charging such high prices, you should at least provide well-mannered, trained servers.
On a positive note, the food was outstanding, which was the only redeeming aspect of our experience. The ceviche was an A+, and the salmon with quinoa also earned an A+. Kudos to the chef for the incredible dishes, but I hope the management can align their service standards with the quality of the food. Guests should never feel like they are being treated as if their meal is complimentary."
