"This was my first visit to the restaurant, and I must say, the interior decor is very appealing. There are several TVs, making it easy to watch games, and there was music playing, creating a nice atmosphere. Surprisingly, it was quite empty when we arrived around 2 PM on a Wednesday, with only three other customers present. The waitress, who also served at the bar, greeted us as we entered and told us to sit wherever we liked. The seating options include a few booths that can accommodate 6 to 8 people each, tables and chairs in the dining area, outdoor seating, and a bar area. The menus were brought to us, and I liked that they had a build-your-own burger option, along with a customizable salad. They provided a list of ingredients to choose from as well. While we were deciding, we ordered an appetizer of 8 onion rings, which were absolutely delicious—big and held together well. I went for the burger with tater tots, while my wife chose a salad. I inquired about raspberry iced tea, but they didn’t have it; instead, they offered strawberry lemonade, which really did have actual strawberries in it. It was decent, but they used paper straws that didn’t hold up well, so I ended up ordering a Pepsi. It took a little while for our order to arrive, as there was only one server on duty, but she was very friendly. Now, onto the food: the burger was very tasty—juicy and piled high with toppings. However, the salad was just okay; it came topped with a hot turkey patty that was overly salty, which didn’t pair well with the cold salad. It might have been better served on the side. In fact, both the salad and the tater tots were quite oversalted. I hardly touched the tots since they were too salty for my taste and ended up taking the salad to go. Overall, it’s a nice place with a pleasant atmosphere. The burger and onion rings were fantastic, earning it a 4-star rating from me. If they could ease off on the salt, allowing customers to season their food to their liking, it would improve the experience. I’d definitely consider coming back, but I’ll be sure to request less salt next time."
