"However, when my entree arrived, I was surprised to find a soup bowl filled with shellfish, a tiny scoop of caviar (which was only placed on the rim of the bowl), and a small piece of sea bass, the fish of the day. When the waitress checked in to see if everything was satisfactory, I mentioned that I expected something more substantial to accompany the shellfish, such as a roll, bread, a side salad, or vegetables. She said she would inform the chef.
After my meal, someone brought me a soup spoon with a dollop of what they claimed was babaganoush, but it tasted more like hummus, topped with caviar. Was this an amuse-bouche? A side dish? It didn’t feel like either; just a strange combination. It didn’t satisfy me or make me want to return to this restaurant. Overall, I was not impressed."
