"This was a really nice meal. Unfortunately, the hostess kind of ruined it for me. We had a reservation. When we arrived, we were told that because the weather was nice, they moved all their reservations inside and our table was promised in an hour and half to another party. We managed to finish with five mins to spare. Unfortunately, I was focused on the time more than enjoying my meal. Not my favorite. We had calamari for appetizer and i had the octopus. Both were excellent. My friend had the lamb shank and greatly enjoyed that. I might come back to the restaurant but the frustration about focusing on finishing in time tainted the experience."

"I HAVE BEEN TO THIS RESTAURANT MANY TIMES OVER THE YEARS. EVERY TIME I GO IT IS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN BEFORE. THE PORTIONS ARE SMALLER AND THE PRICES ARE UP. BROUGHT MY OWN BOTTLE AND WAS CHARGED 50 CORKAGE. LAST TIME THERE WAS 35.. I ASKED SERVER. HE SNARKLY RESPONDED BLAME BIDEN THAT WAS AFTER HE BROKE THE CORK. I AM NOT POOR , BUT I FEEL THE VALUE IS JUST NOT THERE FOR ME, I ALSO HAVE TO TRAVEL 50 MIN TO GET THERE. ITS IN A WEALTHY AREA AND THERE ARE PLENTY OF PEOPLE WHO WIL PAY THE FREIGHT.. I WILL NO LONGER. TO BAD AS THERE ARE CERTAIN THINGS I REALLY LIKE THERE."

"This is our new favorite local BYOB spot. We've been twice now. The staff is very warm and friendly and the food is superb. If you like well crafted food and are willing to pay for very interesting tasting, beautifully plated food then this is a great place to go. We've been twice and both times they have been great with dietary restrictions as well. It's charming, casual enough to walk in (if you can get in!) but also a great place to take visiting friends and relatives or for a special night out or date. The Wayne area needed a place like this. We'll keep going back for sure."

"they come ready to eat delicious, carefully prepared foods that attract as much as possible from local ingredients and seasonal availability. this is the place to enjoy Greek wine, so they do that they can call this a Mediterranean food and end their evening with a taste of ice that she probably never had before. the lenses that accompany the heavy fish were particularly good. the lamb chops were cooked for perfection. the appetizers brought us back directly to the old land itself. happy served and beautifully prepared. Oh, and if you don't know that you're crying Greek, they'll let the staff lead them. think about it as an adventurous in new aromen."

"I?ve visited the restaurant last Saturday and the place was pretty busy. The food was good overall but not of the quality of restaurants back in Greece or Cyprus. The music was quite good but it was a bit uncomfortable to notice the old lady that Ibelieve she was the owner persistently asking the female singers to go and grab some customers, a group of aged men that shelooked to know them, and dance with them. That same lady on a couple of occasions came and pushed the chairs of our table, forproviding more space to the specific group, without asking us and ignoring the discomfort she was causing. Finally, when Ireceived the final charge on my bank account, it seems that they rounded up the final amount. It may be a few dollars more butthat?s so unprofessional. Overall the night started good but ended with a big disappointment."

"Really the best chinese food of my life! The shrimp toast was aromatic and the outside flakes. The shrimp lo mein and spicy shrimp with peanuts were also great dishes. Our waitress managed not to make both dishes hot but to keep all the flavors. Even the tea was fragrant and incredible. We'll be back."

"Delicious with lovely spices. It's somewhat like a diner (has booths), but the service was excellent and the food was great. Flavorful with large portions. Price range is medium. Will definitely be back. Edit: in my second visit the cooks were rather loud so the dining experience wasn't as great. Also, they use oil generously, so keep thst in mind if you are trying to do a low fat diet."

"This is a fantastic neighborhood Greek restaurant. They offer a nice variety of salads, and while the eggplant spread was tasty, it was a bit too lemony for my taste. The Branzino special for the main course was excellent, although I would have preferred a substitute for the dandelions, as they were quite tough. Overall, it's a wonderful and friendly local Greek spot."

"Showed up for my p.m. reservation exactly on time, but had to wait for a table. A group of showed up at for their reservation. They moved a group of who were seated at a large table to MY table and the group that was an hour late to the large table. So instead of seating my group, they told me I had to be flexible and made me wait another minutes. I mean, honestly? Rude. I guess they forgot the meaning of customer service. If someone comes an hour late, why should I suffer the consequences"

"Bought a few pastries here for delivery, so I don 't know their experience with a whole pie or large catered cake. Everything was homemade and tasted really fresh. Definitely the old school Italian/Portuguese bakery vibe (down to the twine on the box). We ordered small eclairs, a slice of cake (cake slices come in their own separate containers), cheese danish, and a lobster tail (a large flaky dessert filled with homemade cream). Everything was sweet, but not so sweet that it tasted synthetic. The lobster tail was so large, two people ate from it. Will definitely order from this place again. They have a lot of classic items on the menu, combined with Brazilian savory style appetizers . They cater and deliver, and also sell cake toppers."

"Absolutely wonderful! We tried a sampling of the meze and gyros. The boureki and spanakopita were the best we've had by far. Boureki is a baked potato, zucchini, and Greek cheese concoction that was divine. The one downfall was the lamb ribs that were a bit too charred, yet still tasty. The sampling of gyros we tried was lamb, pork, and salmon. All rich and tasty. Overall a lovely experience."

"There are plenty of great Greek restaurants in the valley, but this one stands out as the best for authentic food. I visited for the first time today, and I plan to return often. I had the Lamb Souvlaki along with a Greek Salad, and I thought I would need to take some leftovers home, but I ended up finishing the entire meal! This place definitely deserves repeat customers. I learned that the family behind the restaurant faced challenges during the Covid pandemic but came back strong. Give them a try—I'm planning to keep them in business to satisfy my cravings for Greek cuisine. The background music was also fantastic. I was so inspired that when I got home, I poured myself a shot of Ouzo—OPA!"

"This was the best meal I've had in years. Not only was the food delicious, the staff was extraordinarily kind and attentive. After each course they quickly cleaned reset our table, as they laid each dish down they gave a quick run through of the flavors, ingredients, and cooking techniques, the drink pairings were phenomenal, our main course was served by the chef, and the timing was all perfect! The atmosphere of this restaurant was cozy and Mediterranean inspired but not tacky...overall a 10/10! I can confidently say that Ladino is my new favorite restaurant in San Antonio."
