"reservations, stood in small hallway for minutes in packed restaurant waiting to be seated, tables were so close i felt as if we were on double date with person to the left and right of us, myself and my wife were so annoyed for the wait and table situation we were about to get up and leave. My wife talked me into staying…. I ordered the Au Poivre steak sauce (the only reason i come to this steak house) and it was water with food coloring! Basically looked like NY sewer water! Had no taste, my waiter warned me of the texture and recommended me not to get it… being my favorite thing in the whole world on a steak i asked for it anyways, upon sight and small taste i had waiter remove it from the table. My steak was perfect medium rare, wife ordered medium and got well-done and steak was just about inedible, we been eating here for just about every holiday and come often with friends, this past experience was enough for me to find a new place to spend dollars for a meal because this place obviously wasn’t worth of what i paid yesterday. Char is around the block and in my opinion the better choice, Danny’s steakhouse is going down hill."

"I visited this establishment on Dec 9 for lunch. I 've been here before after work, but for drinks once and one other time for apps, which I recall being good. It 's a nice place with music. So I chose it when meeting friends in the City because the other places that I wanted to go to either didn 't have availability or the reservations would be too late. We arrived early, checked in and was told we would be called at our time. We were forgotten. We sat down almost half hour later. (1 star removed as there were time constraints). The music this time around was insanely loud. We were yelling to hear each other. I think they may have upped it to create a vibe because it was Santacon (1 star removed). The waiter was super nice and tried making up for the confusion . We placed our orders. I ordered the the steak and eggs with parm fries and friends ordered the fried chicken sandwich with parm fries and arugula salad with chicken. One order came out missing the chicken because the place was just too loud and he misheard the order. Leo the waiter was fantastic. He made things right. The bartender was also great, but can 't remember his name. Will I return, sure, but not during Santacon. I 'll go again after work but if the music is that loud again, I 'll steer clear from this place. No point in going if you can 't have a conversation and come out with a sore throat from yelling."

"Terrible service! It took more than 40 minutes for our delivery to arrive. Our order was incorrect, and when we called to address the issue, they wanted to charge us the difference and said it would take another 40 minutes to deliver it! After asking to speak to a manager, we were put on hold. The food was also subpar; the rice in the rolls was stale, and the fish wasn't fresh. I do not recommend this restaurant."
